“Banged Up” is the much anticipated follow-up to Sam Zahner and Calvin Barrett’s debut film “70/30”. Winding their way through the streets of Colorado, Minnesota, and Massachusetts, Sam and Calvin were joined by Mike Cappola, Seamus Flanagan, Scrappy Joe, and Pete Koukov. After countless cold days and painful nights, last minute cross-country drives chasing storms that didn’t happen, endless shoveling and a surplus of slams, the title could not be a more accurate depiction of Winter 17/18 through the eyes of the crew.
MAGMA is a ski movie made for the love. No sponsors, No funding, just purely for the love of skiing. MAGMA was filmed in a month at Mt.Hood with a few shots from Mt. Bachelor and South Sister. We want to show everyone what this place means to us and how we have been inspired to create MAGMA. Thank you to those who have inspired us and for everyone who helped out and supported this project. Hello people. This is the first ever Keeshlife movie. Filmed mostly in the cold streets of Finland with a little flavor from Ruka backcountry and the epic atmosphere of Riksgransen. We went out there with our handycams and whatever cameras we were able to get our hands into and filmed each others like a bunch of friends do. Only plan was to make a movie out of it. That went on for over 60 days last winter.
Cant tell you much about the skiing before you watch it. We got a mix of the most lunatic riders in Finland so the skiing you are about to witness is going to be the purest and the most rawest form of Keesh you have witnessed this far.

That's right, the Traveling Circus returns to the springtime ski destination of Timberline, dirty laundry and all, in "Mayisode," the 2nd episode of the 7th season. The TC crew meets up at Andy's cat-filled apartment in Government Camp for a week of shoveling, snacking and volcano skiing. Just a normal day with candide thovex.
I'm Pekka. A 21 years old guy. Injured pretty damn seriously on 28.4.2010. That is a date I remember well, even though I can't remember anything that happened that day. I have heard some stories from my friends about how it happened: I had yelled from the lift "I'll go one more time, this is the last one", and the last one it was. I did it because the switch double cork 10's I had done were a bit unstable. Switch doubles were an easy trick for me, but that day was windy and a really strong blast of wind grasped me and I landed way too far, over-rotating my trick. In the crash, I broke my helmet (the Sweetest black thing, that saved my life), I gained a serious / extremely serious brain injury and sank into a coma for 17 days. Next thing I know, was laying in the hospital, next summer. The rehabilitating process has been a rough one to me, but I have still been able to rehabilitate myself amazingly fast! The biggest weaknesses the injury brought along are my memory problems, which have fallen away majorly, and balance problems, which have also fallen away pretty much too. The predictions I got from doctors were pretty dark: Will be able to walk in 2 years, might not be able to ski ever again and I don't know the whole list. But what I do know: walked after about 6 MONTHS after the crash and skied for the first time after 11 months. So that's the thing in a nutshell, follow my rehabilitation in the blog!
We’ve all been that kid sitting in the back seat of our family car, wishing we were somewhere else. Through the boredom, the driveway snow piles, sidewalk handrails and stair sets start to tease our inner skier. One easily falls into the same pattern over and over, no matter what one does. No matter if it's getting dressed in the morning or making a ski film. It´s as natural as water flows in a stream, or thoughts flow in our minds. Is There Time For Matching Socks is our quest to escape the default mode.
The Bunch has made conscious choices to lower the carbon footprint of this production and the emissions that were still generated have been balanced by 200%.
The emissions were balanced via a Gold Standard-certified wind park project in Aruba.

This corresponds to the yearly carbon footprint of either 2 Americans, 4 Swedes or 427 Rwandans.

Shift is a short ski film produced by Peter Vanderwilden and myself. We will be releasing it on friday of this week. This is a park segment that I made with intent of putting it in the movie but decided to drop it separately to keep the movie entirely Backcountry and Urban. This segment features skiing from Dylan Sondrup, Colby Stevenson, Andy Partridge, Keegan Kilbride, Jay Wilder, Tim Ryan, Riley McDonough, Jake Doan and Quinn Wolferman. http://www.highfivesfoundation.org A 22 year old freeskier, Giray was at a competition in March 2013 when he overshot a landing on a jump and broke his sacrum and pelvis. He is now trying to get back to his life as a skier and return to the slopes as soon as physically possible. He looks forward to continuing to pursue his dreams of skiing deep snow and fun terrain park features every day.
