“Banged Up” is the much anticipated follow-up to Sam Zahner and Calvin Barrett’s debut film “70/30”. Winding their way through the streets of Colorado, Minnesota, and Massachusetts, Sam and Calvin were joined by Mike Cappola, Seamus Flanagan, Scrappy Joe, and Pete Koukov. After countless cold days and painful nights, last minute cross-country drives chasing storms that didn’t happen, endless shoveling and a surplus of slams, the title could not be a more accurate depiction of Winter 17/18 through the eyes of the crew.
This is what we do. This is who we are. This is no place for fun. This is Strictly Business.

The Regiment is a two year film project from professional freestyle skier Henrik Harlaut. Today, Henrik is one of the only skiers to compete at the highest level while also filming some of the most influential video parts of the past decade. We see Henrik go from filming urban three hours before a flight to X Games to skiing spines in Alaska and for the first time we get an insight to what makes Henrik tick, as he shares the motivations and inspirations that allow him to be one of the best freeskiers today.

Kimbo Sessions was without a doubt my favorite week last season. So many homies and a perfect park with a private lift. Thank you Kim Boberg for the great times! Enjoy this video recapping my week!
Scout and I filmed a couple times this winter and we were very happy to get a lotta good shots, but then it all went sad when a springtime crash relieved him of an intact ACL - Which is now apparently the doc's lie, Scott's got a strained MCL and bone bruising instead. Get well soon Scott!
Also shoutout Tom Christie for insp.

I tore my ACL just over a week ago, and that made me realise how much skiing means to me. Especially now that I know I will have to suffer 6 long months of pain and sweat to work my way back.
I wanted to create an edit that shows how good skiing is, an edit that makes you feel love towards skiing as you watch it. Maybe it will, maybe it wont. At least I enjoyed that spring skiing in Mammoth and that month I spent in the USA was probably one of the most memorable ones of my entire life.
I hope I will spread some love with this cut, until then enjoy skiing for me until I come back.
All my street shots from 17/18 season.
Filmed- Owen Dahlberg, Aj Dakoulas, Mickey Fitz, Dale Talkington, Ethan Timmons, Matt Kaye, Pete Koukov, Sam Zhaner.

Heres a tribute edit for HG of last year and hood. I was fortunate enough to be their intern for a little while, right til they went under.
This is the first edit I've made, and I wanted it to feel like a story.
Hope you watch this w headphones and mellow vibes. that'd be tight.
