Some World of Warcraft Users Unable to Log In

For over 24 hours, some World of Warcraft users have been unable to log in.The forums are blowing up with complaints, with hundreds of people reporting that they can’t get past the authentication screen. Some people have puzzle with the World of Warcraft CD Key.

It would seem the fix is still in progress as some of these affected users are now able to log in, but their characters have disappeared. I’ve actually run into both of these problems and just figured it was my connection. Glad to hear help is on the way.

A WoW player living in Indianapolis was arrested after he used in-game chat to threaten to blow up a plane while he is wow power leveling. He had apparently made them because he didn't believe that, contrary to popular belief, that doing so wouldn't alert the police.
A Blizzard representative is quoted as saying that the chat logs were "very serious" and didn't seem to be just jokes however she declined to show the logs to indystar.com. The man's PC was seized as evidence and the cased turned over to the FBI.

Everyone has their own personal favourite or the hip one that everyone and their pet goldfish is currently engrossed in. For example, I'm renowned for my adoration of the gorgeous USA MMO that is LOTRO, as well as my passion for WoW while LOTRO power leveling.
Personally, these are the only two MMOs which do it for me enough that I will spend copious amounts of time exploring, questing and flying around pretty aimlessly. I enjoy beautiful scene and epic storyline while Lord of The Rings Online Power Leveling. So two is my limit, I will occasionally play a couple extra, if I have to review something or a beta comes up but there's often little to keep me going past that. Yet LOTRO and WoW remain, filling the void and I couldn't be happier. Especially as there's more than enough happening between the two of them at the moment to keep me very busy. However I know that lots players love fresh feelings. They may change the games very often, for the new questing or free beta.

It makes me curious if these edits include just the icons, or if they tried to justify them in the game world. Are you still looting VanCleef's Head (but placing it in a bag), or are you looting some of his personal effects of proof of the deed?
It's always unlucky when this sort of censorship happens, it's not what we would like to see, but I we can't help but be intrigued by the idea of the game world we’re playing in being so different for those in other parts of the world.
