A firm that sells used and fixed Iphones scammed me lol. They said they will most likely pay 160€ for my 12 but somehow after the inspection price fell to 50€. It does not cost 110€ to change a battery and a screen to cheap chinese ones. Thet sell the fixed ones for 329. Price they paid+ real price of the chinese parts+ short work time to fix it= 200€ in profit. Fucking money hungry capitalist pigs. I thought they were about recycling and saving the world but no.
At least I got some money out of recycling the old phone.

The past week or so I started listening to their catalogue, on Magical Mystery Tour right now. I grew up with them, I literally know every single one of their songs by heart lol, but for some reason I've just chosen to sleep on them for the past 8 years.
Coming back to them older and having more musical knowledge, it absolutely blows my mind what they did. Just pure genius. Absolutely the greatest band of all time.
Only point of this job is that when I'm real big baller I can say I came from the trenches.

More like figuratively. I guess my main duty is washing windows. In reality I'm more like CEO's handyman. Being bounced around. I do bit of everything normal workers don't get to do. For some reason translating their contracts into English landed on me. I don't really get the trench rights tho. I don't have to do this minimum wage thing to stay alive so it's not the same.
I didn't get to renew my forest slave rights last weekend either. Now I'm back to being lazy middle class kid. There should be more tree planting next year. Maybe I'll get my forest slave rights back.

Placed second, and won twice. Debatably won three times because he got engaged to the winner at the ceremony. Plus, he was in a few seasons of the Amazing Race and I think is still occasionally in game shows.
I think the last season of survivor he was in was 2020
Idk TV has definitely fallen so far off with the social media, tiktok stuff. It used to be such so much bigger than it is now. Weekly watchparties and stuff for survivor and lost and other shows. Last time Ive seen anything resembling what I remember from my childhood is game of thrones and that honestly didnt touch what it used to be like

It was weird explaining why it was such a huge show back then, it was such a wild concept, nothing even close had ever existed before, like it literally spawned an entire subgenre of survival reality TV

There are only so many medical supplies that one can fit into a 5L bike fanny pack. So far its a bleeding kit, CAT TQ, and a foldable CPR mask. If shit gets thick, just call for the trauma pack and backup I guess.
Summer Patrol is going to be a whole different beast I think. Not too many calls I've heard but the ones that do come in are pretty fucked. Plus environmental emergencies and stuff.

Fricken Rupert haven't thought about that dude in years, he was my favorite survivor.
Also, can't forget about Jonny fair play. Lying and telling everyone his grandma died, what a move.
I feel like as seasons went on they didn't let the people starve as much or put as much emphasis on starting your fire like a caveman.
I've befriended too many people's dogs with either dog treats or slices of cheese. My roommate fosters dogs from Denver and the amount of bad food and pets I've given them is criminal. I also kept a bag of dog treats in my truck during the ski season to hand out to people's dogs in the Jane-side lots.
