I saw this image of a guy with a red bull helmet who wasn’t sponsored in another thread, had to see if for myself. To my surprise it was true, and it got my interest piqued.
So I wanna see it all, the posers, the newbies, the pretentious asshats.
let’s see the best (worst) Reddit and assorted jerry forums finds from you guys.
Stumbled upon a good one today. A random user argues that rocker has little to do with ski design. When they get called out, the user hits back with the classic "How many years have you been skiing?"
Turns out they were arguing with u/momentskis lol

This is the equivalent of asking Bill Belichick how long he's been coaching football.

Yeah I would love to take my dog in a van, if no heaters too I don’t see the problem.
Alta and the canyon have banned dogs for a while, so an out of stater basically ignoring locals
SmokedGoudaPart of me thinks that looks fun. Another sees a fire hazard waiting to explode. That van is filled to the brim. Van life: Hoarding Edition?
mrk127Wait what’s wrong with bringing a dog to Alta? I’m not from Utah
SLC relies heavily on the snowpack in the Wasatch for it's supply of drinking water. Something like 60% of that water comes from the cottonwood canyons, home to alta/bird, brighton, and solitude. Because of that, dogs are prohibited to the tune of a $600 fine, and you're not allowed to swim in any of the alpine lakes up there. It's taken pretty seriously so people get pretty upset when people break the rules. There are also multiple signs as you go in the canyon telling you that dogs aren't allowed

I've always wondered if the people who live in Alta, and the ones who live in bcc are able to own dogs themselves. Or if they did would cops kick down their door and steal the dogs? Probably just a pretty big fine.

Can't speak for BCC but I know residents (property owners, not seasonal workers) of the town of Alta can get permits for their pups to be up there. I've met one of them up in grizzly gulch before
