Was 7 days into work tonight after 1 day off and 2 more days to go. So gonna be 9 straight after 1 day off and then i have to switch to graveyard shift 💀.
But tonight cat I was waiting for never got fixed so I did some shit im the work cat, borrowed buddies cat while he was cutting the pipe and dipped early.
Sucked because friend who was leaving broked his arm and couldn't play.
But got to see some of my good friends play and I ended up playing 7 or 8 songs almost all originals and many by request.
Was cool to play a decent length set. Also its weird but awesome when you're singing songs you wrote and people are singing them back to me. It sucked losing Monday's this year but I think next yeat Im going to ask for that off. Wild just from hearing me play at home or next door they know my fucking songs. It was a weird but in a good way and cool feeling I guess.
I also miss playing in front of people and many of my friends leave this week. Not too shabby
I have the Cabela's club card. It's nice for store cash.... but it's really not a crazy amount of cashback to use in the store. I got a bunch of clothing last year and using it for fishing stuff this year.
profa_212anybody have a credit card for any of the big outdoors stores? Debating opening one for scheels or cabelas. My pops had the cabelas one growing up and it was cool seeing him get free guns and camping shit, but i feel like the Scheels one is more versitile in their gear selection beyond hunting stuff.

i forget what you guys are talking about but cabela's is sick. last time i was at the one in reno the used gun selection was unreal. SKS, ww2 arisakas, uzis, all kinds of wild shit

Yeah makes sense. Honestly leaning towards the scheels one just because they have more variety and it seems like better points accrual. Plus they still have lifetime warranty on their stuff

I fuck with them. Unfortunately, they have gone a little downhill since they were bought out by bass pro. They got rid of their lifetime warranty and their cabelas branded stuff got a little cheaper
unbelievable people continue to be this stupid after the last two terms. the second convicted criminal to “lead” our country
were you a pierre voter? idk shit about canadian politics.
this graph was really interesting to me, why did liberal party support skyrocket so much? i heard pierre was basically a canadian trump, and a lot of canadians didn’t want that kind of political turmoil.

yes,
someone can probably correct me but i would guess that skyrocket is from when trudeau stepped down. lot of libs were sick of him even so support increased with the new guy. also when carney cut the carbon tax that was most of pierres whole campaign promise lol
pierre is infinitely more rational than trump so anyone who says he would cause that sort of turmoil is just copping out
been binging to catch up to current and Ho hoooooooly fuck this shit crazy, I love this show
(Haven’t played any of the games tbh but I want to now)
I watched the 1st season and really liked it. Never played the games so it's a fresh story for me.
Seems like people that did play the games don't like it as much for various reasons.

It was extremely well-written as a video game series as someone who replayed the fuck out of 1 and 2. I'm not a video game neckbeard who is overly critical of renditions but it's still the most accurate video game adaptation with a few tweaks to get new fans engaged and hooked. But yeah a lot of us already knew what was gonna go down this season and its gonna be buckwild.
The zombie actors are fuckin incredible too and are doing a really sick job of depicting the infected. Can't wait for the episode with Stalkers because those little fuckers were terrifying to play against, especially at night. Oh and The Rat King in the Seattle hospital.

my first thought is that trump and his affiliated party could be impacting the canadian outllook and driving people to the liberal party but idk how much your big brother to the south actually impacts you political campaigns lol. if i wanted to ensure canada didn’t become the 51st state (lol), i would assume the liberal party would be a better bet than someone who is trying to be buddy buddy with trump. no clue if that was the stance of this pierre guy though
partyandBSyour trucks over 20 years old right? it’s always gonna have something to improve or fix at this point but still a hell of a lot better than trying to buy a new one. good on ya!
Landlord wanted me to move into her old room because she's renovating the rest of the house to turn it into an AirBnB, but it's actually sick as hell. Private Bathroom (no shower) but spacious with a cool coffee table.

yeah, honestly trump derangement syndrome is something else. throwing the future of your country away is crazy.
Literally,
Clothing was peak, team was peak, video and photo content was peak.
Once or twice a year I'll watch all their old edits while wearing my KAP hoodie.
Plus can we talk about how good the music and aesthetic of their edits was??? Like the music, the tricks, the filming- it all just fit together so well.
People love to talk about "core" companies in skiing, but tbh no loss of a company has felt as bad as Yoke closing shop. Not blaming them at all, they were clearly ready to move onto bigger and better things in thier lives. But damn man, no company has really rivaled them in terms of cultural contributions and impact on the scene since.

This Dad of a kid I used to coach won't stop sending me all this political content about Trump and while I don't necessarily like POTUS, I also don't really give a shit and wouldn't like my DM's blown up by some dude in his 40's posting Facebook reels.
bro i literally cant extend my arm fully. i probably should have gone a little lighter than 5-10 lbs less than normal for the first gym in a couple months 😭

If you are living near snobahn now then you should definitely pull up. It is a little empty rn because I suspect all the skiers are hibernating but that just means you never have to wait to get on the big tramps. There is also for some reason always a person or a group there that is completely busted at tricking. I saw a dude land a flat double backflip once. like wtf? Only a handful of people in the world can do that. His names Jayden Harris I think
Thanks mate! Yeah I'm stoked. Have played almost a full set some weeks there. This year I lost mondays early but got to play the last 2 open mics and lined up a gig for mid may. Gonna play a bit and dial in my songs before that. Prolly playing 5050 originals to covers. 2 hours but might go longer with a 10 min break. I've been adding covers and pretty stocked but might try to add 2 new ones before for versatility. It's cool to be an old dawg learning new tricks lol.

Also I must mention that iconic saga flannel went mia between Amsterdam and Denver. Now rocking a yellow and black. But damn. That hoodie was jacked but I'll still miss it lol
The company I work for is looking at sending me across seas for another project that is kicking off. It's all fine and fun but, honestly, I don't want to move again.
SivvyMan I sure hope mind readers aren't real because there's some odd thoughts that drift through my head
i think this all the time. in my thoughts i apologize to people for having judgmental thoughts about them. meanwhile my mom had no private thoughts. if she thought someone was fat, she told them lol. dutch direct is a real thing

He should pull up on his bike and shred the mini ramp. It would be chaos. I’d be here for it.

Hell yeah dude. Sorry I didn't run into last weekend. Best of luck.
Ski Town Blues hitting real hard for this shoulder-season. Id like to get bike patrol season here but also feel like wanting to make another change/move by next season, just not sure what. Grand County has been cool and all but it gets kinda old doing the same thing every day and running into the same people. Feels like a never ending time loop seeing the same cars on the road every morning with it being so remote. Can't believe im yearning to live in a more urban/city-like setting again.
