Hot damn. It seems like I haven't done a Solid 7 type article in forever but it's back for the time being & hopefully more consistent than the last run of articles! As always, THESE ARE MY OPINIONS AND YOU MIGHT LOVE THEM OR YOU MIGHT HATE THEM, BUT I DON'T REALLY CARE IN THE END. The Solid Seven is, has, and will always be a whenever the hell I feel like it article series detailing 7 solid, not necessarily great, skiing related topics.
A recent thread in Gear Talk discussing rad topsheets for 2018 skis is the inspiration for this week's Solid 7.
The first time I saw these at SIA last January, I was immediately intrigued & knew I wanted these on my skis this coming Fall.
The creative genius Madsteez is back once again designing graphics for Armada this winter & I know I'm not the only one that's super stoked for that. Responsible for the rad mural on Armada's old HQ, I love how he stayed true to his style across the entire ARV lineup. The continuation almost makes me want to get all of them & hang 'em up on my wall instead of skiing them.
I'm a real sucker for clean graphics; fuckin' sue me! Line really nailed the retro inspired, cleaner than your coke table after a night with Tony Montana look this winter.

Another old-school ski movie poster inspired topsheet, this time from the legend JLev. Featuring the hated yellow jackets of a certain Colorado ski conglomerate, my internet brother Giray masked up, & scantily-clad snow bunnies.
