I understand that for many of us NS was our first introduction to the world of Park Skiing on a grand scale. So we all came here as jerry's and noobs looking to learn more. But the essence of progression has fell from NS's members. Too many members here have high and lofty opinions on skiing but haven't learned a new trick in seasons. Too many members fill the forums with comments but forget to fill their pages with edits and sick photos.
So I ask, don't you care to back up all of your opinions with the wisdom of your experience?

yungSBI would post edits but ive realized no matter how many pairs gloves i go through I will never be as tactile as you, so there is no point even considering posting my clips. But I am the debatably the best and most notorious skier that still frequents NS, so it is what it is.
Dlonettii think i’ll always be a social media skier, i’m just addicted to the process of stacking phone clips and making a fun lil edit. but anytime i have cam clips/tripod/gopro i’ll edit on the laptop and post it on here and youtube. i was never on this site in its glory days but i appreciate it for what it is now and still find value in it.
also i typically don’t talk shit to people unless i know im a better skier than them lol and its close with you. i respect the rail and jump game but you are a kook imo. would love to play you in slvsh as the newschoolers representative but i think id need it to be rails only lmao. i was just out at copper riding with ryan (JB) but got hurt and am home now

Like I said. I’m on here from time to time. I’m an adult. I have a full time job and a gf. Popping on once a month is average more me. If there were more interesting things on here, then I’d be making more of an effort to get on more often. and don’t be mad that I post shit of interest, positive or negative.
I’ll check out GenericSkier and Zurg. I’ve heard of GenericSkier but not Zurg. Regardless I’m not familiar with either of their work. RAF however, I’m very familiar with, even on a personal level. And I want to remind you homie can’t hit jumps and flip. He is an expert at hiking all day and jibbing small features slowly. Congrats to him but that’s like bragging about having a nice car but your car still doesn’t have an engine in it.
oh and if I’m not for the culture then what was Kit Chat for? It couldn’t have been purely just for me to see my pretty face on camera. You should ask the 1000 different skiers from all across the country that came on the show.

You can call it Bragging. But personally I think I use it to show perspective of my position in skiing.
I was a nobody skier who learned to ski in Indiana. I worked to get better, made movies with my crew, worked at Level 1, moved out West, continued to get better, started making art pieces for pros, then started an original series where I talked to those exact same pros in person amongst many other known and unknown skiers, still progressed in my ability, and now I’m here.
so yeah, it gives credibility to my opinions on skiing.

But I can say it keeps money in my bank account, food on the table, and gives me plenty of time to ski Summit County. I don't think you understand the time commitment Kit Chat was. Plus fun fact. The money was my grandma's but it was actually given by her to my Aunt and Uncle who in turn gave it to me because they wanted to see me pursue my dreams. So I gave them monthly updates on the progress of Kit Chat and my art. I also was talking to a SCORE sponsor who I bounced ideas off of in Kit Chat's genesis. So it was actually quite coordinated and supported by my extended family.

Why not just book it off? It's almost 2 months out, ample time to put in a time off request. I'm sure there is someone that could cover for you. Dude is offering free lift tickets, I'd take that over an 8 hour shift. Plus depending on your employment status you could take vacation pay for the time off so you could imagine it as being paid to ski.

i actually respect the decision to use the inheritance to pursue a passion/business venture. i would even encourage others to do so in the same situation especially while you’re younger. kit chat potential was there. if presented in a different manner, could have been incorporated into events like dewtour where they coordinated you going up the lift with the us team so that they could casually name drop all their sponsors and mention a bit about their process for the comp and other ski focused questions, etc. or brands could have sponsored an episode and for a day you would find and offer to interview everyone who was wearing that companies gear. could it have been managed better? 100%. dramatic on camera, sure that’s the ploy but dramatic off with mack or kids at the hill is bad for business. publicly voicing conspiracy theories, racist views, etc. and the egotistical rhetoric is probably what’s gonna limit you to entry level jobs until your next family member dies lol.

Yeah I agree it's respectable to use your inheritance to pursue a passion/business venture. I would probably want to do the same if I inherited some $. Personally I've never skied outside of British Columbia so if I came into some money I'd love the chance to ski and film in some new locations. Always wanted to go to Japan and Norway. But for kit chat bars, literally the only positive thing I can say is that they put did put some time into editing the quick cuts. This "show" consisted of iphone clips of him going up to people on hill (including him putting his arm around women who didn't always look too comfortable) and asking them stupid questions like "Do you have rizz?"
