I understand that for many of us NS was our first introduction to the world of Park Skiing on a grand scale. So we all came here as jerry's and noobs looking to learn more. But the essence of progression has fell from NS's members. Too many members here have high and lofty opinions on skiing but haven't learned a new trick in seasons. Too many members fill the forums with comments but forget to fill their pages with edits and sick photos.
So I ask, don't you care to back up all of your opinions with the wisdom of your experience?

Skin color has nothing to do with advancement of civilization. It's all about geographic location and access to resources with a long enough time frame to not have that disrupted. It is worthy of note though the people who peddle this shit constantly dont have any contributions to which they proclaim. You take pride in things you dont understand and dont have any hand in. You need 5g of mushrooms in a dark room.
X_ANKILLAFair enough. The White race is and always has been superior, not in perception on one's self but in the reality of our creations and developments. But yes, I do think less of people's opinions when they have zero edits.
For me I just used this site to connect with other skiers not to make this site sound lame but it’s kinda just a filmers LinkedIn for me. I don’t see any time where I’ll post any clips of me skiing because that’s not what I’m passionate about.

I think there’s something to be said about securing a job that isn’t contrary to the lifestyle that you want to live.

i make more than twice what @x_ankilla makes and yet i am more than a hundred miles from good ski resorts. We all make choices and he seems happy with his.
The 2 I have met in person ski really well. I’ve seen a third in passing and he was good too.
I follow you on insta and can confirm you rip too lol So my census is that most people on here are, actually, pretty damn good skiers. Part of that is the fact that if you seek this type of stuff out, you’re probably going to push yourself harder skiing and go that much further because of passion.

Farmville420100%, also forgot to mention that Tom P guy who lives in gear talk and engineers K2 boots or something lol. Also hit some street spots with stokedelic and rode with him a decent bit, he's good.
Jems, evancantspin and rojo.grande are also filmers, i could probably do this all day if I really sat down and tried. Either way there's like 5 people I know of that are mid and all of them are funny so that alone is a worthwhile contribution to the ski scene

Yep. I see this in the poker industry too. We call them mis regs (miserable regular grinders) who are good at poker but shit on recreationals. It kills there action others action and the recs dont have fun and dont come back. Basically hindering the industry especially in areas where the market is smaller.

I think alot of dedicated passionate skiers still post edits on this platform + I have found many talented people on this site. maybe not as much as Instagram or youtube but its there for the looker if they want to find it. I don’t think theres that many bad skiers on newschoolers I just dont think theres enough people here to be prominent or potent in the scene.

You’re kind of proving his point though. It’s not that there aren’t people who ski well who lurk on NS, it’s that the most active contributors aren’t necessarily good skiers.

Contribute to the site. This site is built upon users posting ski content. Opinions in forums are just a result of the posted content, opinions aren’t the genuine bread and butter of NS.

Thank you. Being a grocer keeps me closer to world class skiing than most can be. I can't say its a dream job. But I can say it keeps money in my bank account, food on the table, and gives me plenty of time to ski Summit County. I have a loving girlfriend and good friends on the hill and in Leadville. Life is good. I wouldn't have it any other way.

I would post edits but ive realized no matter how many pairs gloves i go through I will never be as tactile as you, so there is no point even considering posting my clips. Fly me out to copper and teach me the ways of skier_X and I may one day be worthy enough to post my tactilla style edits.
