luckyduckylol you’re just a negative hater committing an ad hominem logical fallacy because you have no other rational response to some positive effect of his. TDS folks have made hating Trump such a part of their identity that anything remotely positive he does can’t be acknowledged and instead they only turn to hate. Probably serves as a defense mechanism for their ego or something
See for yourself. No violence or rioting ever happened at any time anywhere around me my anytime time in DC as confirmed under oath by the FBI case officer responsible for reviewing all the evidence they had.
It was a fedsurrection of the highest order to subvert a peaceful, democratic process by Congress to investigate election illegalities reported by multiple states in order to keep the pro-war establishment’s preferred players from scrutiny and in power.
Can you answer why Trump requested for there to be thousands of National Guard present on J6 to provide security but the General Milley and the heads of the Capitol grounds refused to invite them even though USCP Chief Stephen Sund made multiple requests for them while the head of DC commons Mayor Bowser refused any more than a paltry few hundred? https://x.com/ezraacohen/status/1859756644806296059?s=46 https://x.com/ezraacohen/status/1869685265134239843?s=46
You don’t think our military-industrial complex, as the premier agent in global regime change, wouldn’t use their assets to propagandize the world and impede the only pro-peace president in my lifetime that ended multiple wars and started no new wars? If your ego will allow it, consider the possibility that you’ve been brainwashed by the same media complex owned by TPTB that also lied us into Iraq, Afghanistan, Syria, Libya, Vietnam, etc.

It's on brand that you just parrot things you don't understand. Your position is that you support DJT, more than this country and its laws -- I might add, and I pointed out that you committed various crimes in your support of him. How is that ad hominem?
"OMG TRUMP BANNED FOOD DYE"
Sure, at face value that might seem good, but as others have pointed of he has cut tons of medical research funding, including cancer research. His administration is literally harassing the people that are finding cures for these ailments and they're starting to retire/leave the country.
You lack the cognitive ability to think critically about anything your daddy does.
I'm sure you're against illegal immigrants coming into America, but guess what buddy:
You LITERALLY entered into Canada, illegally, while fleeing the US.

"Purdy said the border agency has no record of Vo entering Canada at any “official port of entry.” Vo was arrested on a warrant issued under an immigration law. In 2024, the border agency removed more than 14,000 foreign nationals from Canada for violating the same law, according to Purdy."
"An Indiana man who fled to avoid serving a nine-month prison sentence for storming the U.S. Capitol was arrested in Canada this week on the fourth anniversary of the mob’s attack. Antony Vo was arrested “without incident” in Whistler, British Columbia, on Monday, said Canada Border Services Agency spokesperson Rebecca Purdy. Vo remained in custody on Thursday, according to an immigration lawyer who represents him."
Weren't we supposed to be tough on crime though? Oh yeah I forgot crimes by republicans are fine, crimes or generally fake crimes by dems or people woth brown skin should get them deported to El Salvador or shot.
I was never that good of a gymnast as a kid and the same mentally. But yeah it's a thing i guess lol.
People who went to Canada during vietnan are scumbags, the republican politicians are fine.
Actually, under the United Nations Convention on Refugees and the latest UN guidelines on it, I was legally in the country with legal representation and paperwork filed and everything. Alberta was okay with me while I was there. "Bloody Corrupt" BC was a different story. It wasn't until I took news interviews that made international headlines which caused the Liberal government to politicize my claim and initiate a special investigation. Everything was otherwise dandy until the Minister used his personal authority to circumvent the normal refugee asylum process and arrest me wrongfully. Even Edward Snowden's lawyer, Robert Tibbo agrees.
The fact is, the pro-war establishment of the US government entrapped us to politically assassinate Trump and his supporters. I noticed none of you answered my questions re: the National Guard.
Why would a pro-Palestine protestor be able to punch a Capitol police officer and receive 48 hours of community service while I was let in by police and left upon police request received 9 months by a partisan DC judge?

Public funding in medical research is rife with waste because people don't have any skin in the game when they use public money. You just love the state because you are a statist.
It is legal under the UN Refugee Convention when you are seeking asylum, as I was. Please educate yourself on the international laws that Canada signed and agreed to.
Trump is a demagogue. His supporters are sycophants.
I'm equally as critical of all politicians regardless of political affiliation. I'm FULLY down to hate on the Democrats -- I've been doing it my whole life. I just hate politicians. The vast majority are liars.
At some point politics became entertainment and supporting a politician became like supporting a sports team.
The people that can't criticize their favorite politician are wild, but this division is what maintains the status quo and do not get it twisted... Trump is part of the status quo: the rich getting richer at the expense of the average person.
Trump has a meme coin. Trump is offering investment accounts through TMTG.

I've been on all sides of the aisle. Grew up as a son of refugee parents where Communists did a number on the family. Remembered President Clinton being cool. We supported Bush for awhile. I probably would've voted Obama in '08 had I been old enough as I was quite the social democrat then. Freshman year, my roommate challenged me on these social democratic ideals I had of a "greater good" and combined with an honors philosophy class, realized the only moral and ethical way to accomplish such ideals is freely and voluntarily, without coercion by the state as that leads to corruption per Mancur Olson's "Iron Laws of Political Economics" (increasing government power increases incentive to capture said power by increasingly sophisticated special interests) and became a classical liberal. I voted Gary Johnson in 2012. I voted Trump in 2016 because he was high energy and I believed that he, while not the ideal libertarian candidate, will be much more likely to tip the scale and shift the Overton window towards my classical liberal ideals, which is accurate. The Libertarian Party has more representation now than ever before because of Trump.
Trump, as a non-insignificant player in the hospitality industry, understands that peace and not war is how you increase wealth and abundance in the world. Do you think the hospitality industry would be helped or hindered through global war and strife? Now ask yourself the same of the imperialist military-industial complex who has lied to the whole world repeatedly to justify foreign war after foreign war for the benefit of a few special interests. People who make their money from providing hospitality fully understand the broken-window fallacy and the foibles of war for the benefit of war profiteers paid for by everyone else.
luckyduckyPublic funding in medical research is rife with waste because people don't have any skin in the game when they use public money.
When private companies fund research the typical criticisms are that they don't actually want to cure anything just find ways to manage symptoms or you could take the conspiracy approach that all these diseases are created by these companies to just keep pumping us full of their drugs. Both of those reason you here from both sides of the political aisle these days so what's the best way to go about it?
Privately funding with better government oversight? Then there is risk of private companies buying out the regulatory agency.
Don't have any data to support it but I would think that government funded research would be the best at actually accomplishing stuff with less bias.
Also Tesla just had their worst earnings in quite some time, which of course means the stock will skyrocket lmao
Tesla stock defies all logic. Even with possible future success in AI and robotics, of which they really aren't leaders in, their valuation is insane. Add in the declining market share, vehicle deliveries, and reduced customer perception and it seems even worse.
SchwagsWould "love" an Obama VS Trump 2028 just for the entertainment value.
I literally saw a social media post about trump 2028 hats and one of the comments said "if trump can run again, so can Obama".... Tbh Obama would slay tf out of Trump in an election but man would the debates be funny

Thought experiment - if it was Bush vs Trump I wonder who would win.
theabortionatorThat book wasn't even good honestly. But somebody with money selling books about how to get rich always seem to sell well.
Like the self help gurus that tell you how to be successful but they're only successful because they wrote a book about how to be successful.
What's really ironic is his style of negotiation is absolutely the worst type for the situations he's applying it in (where relationships need to be preserved). He's also become so predictable that the only people losing are fools or folks with a lot to lose and no cards. In this case, the poor countries and those heavily reliant on his carrots are folding whereas those like China and Harvard and certain law firms are literally telling him to get fucked. It's also pretty evident that Russia is playing him like a fiddle.
I actually liked Gore like I liked Clinton. Gore didn't get us into 800 Billion dollar wars funded by their VP who was CEO of Haliburton.
When you really look into the Military complex it's pretty fucked.
I'm not entirely sold on the whole global warming thing. Sure C02 may reflect the suns rays a bit but doesn't more carbon Dioxide just mean more food for plants?
Don't we prefer a slightly warmer planet instead of a colder one where glaciers cover where I live?
No doubt that humans can effect the temperature on earth but no one can measure the earth's normal change as it happens naturally.
HypeBeastBush easy. Let's mix it up....Al Gore vs Trump if the election was held this November.

I'm no expert by any means but here's a few things:
-Yes it's true the earth goes through warming and cooling cycles and yeah there's signs of old plant and animal life everywhere. So yes one day folks might be living all fine and dandy where glaciers once stood. This one is faster which creates issues with the ecosystem's ability to effectively adapt.
-Our entire society is built on the climate as we know it from food chains to location of communities. Global warming melts sea ice, raising water levels, changing water temperatures, and acidifying oceans.
-So you have coastal cities at risk of being under water in 50-100 years from melting ice and raising sea levels (check out Charleston, SC flooding rates over the past 50 years. Fucking insane).
-Altered temperature gradients contribute to worsened weather events, which can have impacts far inland (think la Nina and El Nino and how that impacts weather. Now fuck that up and see what happens). Add in more extremes like super hot days, stronger storms, droughts, wildfires, landslides, floods, etc. Different regional temps impact farming big time. You're gonna see regions once meccas of farming become shit and others popping up as the new farm lands. This is a fun map https://fitzlab.shinyapps.io/cityapp/
-CO² and warming ocean temps cause acidification of the water, decimating coral life. Coral reefs are integral to both the biodiversity of the ocean (25% of all marine life. Literally our water rainforest equivalents) and serve as protective barriers for coastal regions where humans live. Plants are integral to helping out with this, but even in that regard we seem to not give a fuck by decimating rainforests for profit.
The ultimate impacts are food supply shortages, forced migration, death and destruction from weather events. We (humanity) are and will be forced to change our lifestyles to adapt but that may be in a situation where there's not enough food or water to go around as significant loss of animal and plant life occur and redistribute.
Yes we can measure the rate of warming. They already do this and then compare it with historical samples (ice, sediment, tree rings, etc) to compare the various rates across time. The present day is an above average acceleration of that cycle. It's gonna happen no doubt, but the rate and our ability to adapt without large loss of plant, animal, and human life is the risk here.

What I find interesting and what I think we as humans will never accept is that all populations in ecosystems undergo growth and death cycles as resources are consumed (growth and migration) and then depleted (die off events). Humans have escaped this outcome, or are in a very slow cycle. Nature keeps populations in check. We will continue to modify that natural cycle because we can't accept death. The question is, are we going too far? Will our actions to maintain humanity at the expense of the ecosystem, eventually collapse the planet? Or is global warming going to be what realigns human populations?

Yea i definitely think we have more than enough people on earth. Musk is nutjob IMO lol.
Surprised we've gone this long without a global cataclysmic event.

That's maddening to see how we were on the right path nearly 20 years ago and now it's just another fake news to half the nation. Fucking wild and also absurd to see a worse lack of a backbone than Jd Vance when it comes to their word.
VTshredder69Honestly most of us republicans would take Bush any day of the week.
But can we not do the Iraq war thing again please?
Literally never thought we would come to the day, but Bush would be a godsend compared to Trump. Fucked lmaoo
Sadly, I genuinely think the republican party has died. Maga or nothing from here on out and that is shit. No way somebody like McCain or Romney would make it to the front now IMO
either way, fuck the two party system that promotes this extremism. At least a few states are making headway with ranked choice voting and the like.
LonelyHe had my vote from “The United States calls for unity and an end to terrorism. Now watch this drive “
followed by a fuckin dinger
love him or hate him, GW tossing a perfect strike for his ceremonial first pitch at Yankee stadium during the World Series following 9/11 was pretty legendary as well

dubya has the blood of thousands of Americans and hundreds of thousands of iraqis and afghanis on his hands and he should have to answer for the failure that was the GWOT.
All that said, to this day I still watch him rip a fast one right over home plate in yankee stadium and get chills, ngl

this gotta be satire lol, at least I hope or else this guy is thinking at a 2nd grade level
Honestly there’s probably some 2nd graders that understand this better
