Official Aggressive Skating Thread

Sorry Chaunceyskis, I couldn't wait to make the thread.

Post up videos of your favorite pros killing it, pics of some sick spots in your town, or videos of you landing a new trick, ask about tricks, give advice on tricks, discuss/review skates, and discuss the latest news in the world of aggressive skating!

Eventually, we could even use this thread for buying, selling, and trading parts or full skates.



First off, what are your thoughts on the beginning of powerblading? Kizer has just brought the concept into play in the aggressive rollerblading game with their new frames able to hold 4 80mm wheels while still allowing soul and negative plate grinds. Check the fourth and fifth edit for some powerblading shots.

my bearings are getting nasty
how do you guys clean your bearings?

fill a bowl with 99% isopropyl rubbing alcohol, take the shields off the bearings, place them in the bowl and move them around a bit, and when they are clean, dry them with compressed air and then put some speed cream in there

ya but they use a product called turbo wash which you have to buy from aggressive mall...i was thinking of something that i could do TODAY and not pay shipping on ya know?
how would one take the shields off of the bearings?

how to clean bearings
1. remove rubber shields. if they're not rubber or plastic looking and don't come off easily, they might not be removable, in which case it's time for new bearings.
2. apply organic solvent, acetone is an example.
3. use bones speed cream or something like that.
4. put the shields on and you're good.

everyones taking a day off but i have all the stuff to build a rail im gunna go now and build it than post a pic of my masterpiece nd make an edit haha and i dont want to skate an urban alone

The rail I use is easy.

Step 1: go to lowes

Step 2: buy three in. diameter pvc pipe.

Step 3: Place on grass next to house between the curve in the sidewalk.

Step 4: Place two sheets of ply down on both ends of pipe so dad doesn't get angry for tearing up grass

Step 5: wax "n" shred

who ever looked through my pics man other than the benches everything was built at a friends house now i have an interchangable for a fat or skinny 10 foot rail thats 1foot or more off the gound he also has like a 3 foot urban rail thats fun

haha only pros i know are brian aragon or something and chris haffey haha heres a urban from yesterday from friends phone he only had the quick frame thing but got some really nice shots this was like my 20th try only time ive landed itjump up was insane like 4.5 feet up and i did do the whole rail it was a soul to mizzou 180 out it goes part 1-7

^ i got em. they are really nice but i had to get rid of the jc rowe footwraps. they gave me mad pressure points on my ankles.

if anyone is interested i got some size 9 usd imperials with a set of black souls and a set of white willing to sell for a good price

Oh and the new grinds I got yesterday were on my new xsjados...:my first review. HBent hit the park yet... But all I can say is xsjados are fucking dope on a rope my friends.

karbunzzzzz which have since been used a lot more and i cut the laces shorter. and my wheels are now so small they're like only 1 or 2mm larger than the antis.

^ hoping the compound is alot grippier. on hot days the current compound becomes suuupper slippery on landings.( or so from my experience they were) and surprise slipouts blow.
