Sorry Chaunceyskis, I couldn't wait to make the thread.

Post up videos of your favorite pros killing it, pics of some sick spots in your town, or videos of you landing a new trick, ask about tricks, give advice on tricks, discuss/review skates, and discuss the latest news in the world of aggressive skating!

Eventually, we could even use this thread for buying, selling, and trading parts or full skates.



First off, what are your thoughts on the beginning of powerblading? Kizer has just brought the concept into play in the aggressive rollerblading game with their new frames able to hold 4 80mm wheels while still allowing soul and negative plate grinds. Check the fourth and fifth edit for some powerblading shots.

Second, there is a lot of good advice on what type of skates suit you in this thread, as well as where to buy full skates/parts,(https://www.newschoolers.com/ns/forums/readthread/thread_id/615627/), all courtesy of a_pla5tic_bag

RB/TRS make decent skates. They are a lot stiffer (that may be a good thing because it will feel more like a ski boot and make the ski to skate transition easier.)
but like pla5tic bag said you can find much better equipment and blades on these websites.

I have ordered from all these sites in the past and have had no trouble. typically aggressivemall is the best customer service, plus everyone who works there is the shit and deserve your business.

unless it's the solo line, i advise against trs skates. solos are fucking awesome but trs is subpar in every way imo
on AMall i found valos, xsjados, razors gens, and i think usds for under 200 and all are sick skates

what should the cult name be?

Want to get into skating but a little lost on what to look at. Comfortable on skates as is, but want to do rails. i like a softer wheel and light, comfortable boots with a medium about of ankle support. suggestions?

at that range you could go for pretty much anything
for a beginner, razors genesys or remz OS are 2 really solid choices. both are cheap and well made.
for frames, i personally use create originals but they might be a little pricier. ground control featherlights are a really light, fast frame for a decent price
wheels are trickier to pick but some good companies are eulogy, undercover, and scribe

^ for frame setup get an older pair of kizer fluids(way better than GCs imo, and older pairs are relatively cheap)with swiss bearings( if they are to spendy get reds) and UC with the good cores(the eislers are amazing) although euology has their new compound coming out soon...i am interested in those

fluids were awful for me
flat was impossible, anti was still terrible
creates are perfect for anti and even without antis they still lock in perfect and slide great

themgoods are solid bearings. i've had mine for like 2 years, never cleaned, and they're still fast

not for everyone i guess. i just think they are wayy better than gcs from my experience. and yeah ive wanted to try COs but just cant spend 70 bucks on a frame

i ordered create originals pumped to get em and honestly it doesnt matter what skates you get if your a beginner thats just stupid id go with razors remz valos though if you go usd thats just wayyyy too light

damn. thats the most i've seen anyone do in a mini since vert got kicked out of X games. takeshi yasutoko put out some videos recently with him doing doubles an such. they used to do double 1080 flatspins.

remz OS 2 with white cuffs. and create origonals was nice enough to hook me up with a pair of frames, which are really fucking nice. they slide so well  and ive got some rollerblade wheels, nothing special but they do their job

Yeah i know, ive got alot of topside tricks down easy on my p-rail, like tru top soul, kindgrinds and a bunch of shit, ive been bringing it to the streets just recently, just havent put out an edit,

ur friends sick tho, ive actually been to the park at  1:28  its in boston

he taught me all i know hes been skating for like 6 years hes not sponsored because he only skates for fun and we go into boston quite often as well there are these marbel ledges that slide so nice but man you have flips down you should like do megaramp and stuff at woodward thatd be dope keep rollin man haha how old are you 15 16

yeah totally put an edit up we only take pictures we videod him because he was talking to create originals (sorry chauncyskis it wasnt razors they just sent him a free pair of skates) but then he didnt reply at one point the only edit we make is a skatepark edit like once every month
