So i have a boot on my car

I decided instead of paying my $400 of parking fines i will simply remove my tire and put on the spare.

yea thats going to be a big FUCK YOU to public safety when they realize their booted car is gone. i will then precede to Home Depot and rent a saw for an hour for about 40 bucks and cut the boot off. I will then place the boot back where my car was booted.

It can and has been done. My advice is use an electric impact wrench, a hydraulic jack and make sure the spare is ready to go on immediately. You will probably draw attention to yourself so this needs to be done like NASCAR speed.

Also don't do this if it is at your own school.

also read what the sign on the car says. the one at my school says it is an offense to tamper with or remove the device. I do not believe it says it is an offense to remove the whole wheel though.

called public safety and said i have a boot on my car and they asked who i was so i just made some name up. They looked me iup on the school system and couldn't find me so i hung up lol.

tonight is the night of nights. it will probably be too dark to take pics, i tried last night and they didn't come out. I'll let you know how it goes.


also I don't plan on bringing my car back to campus, i'm keeping it at my friends house a mile off campus.

so a couple of things can happen now

1.) The situation blows over since they dont audit the systems and figure out that a boot is missing

2.)They immediately/in a couple weeks realize your car is gone, look up cars that had boots in their systems and whos paid vs whos car never got paid off and is still in the system, fine you/contact you/ contact PD

2.5)They contact the police (seriously, all the school needs to do is go "Hi this is __ at __ school we would like to look up the owner of a car with the plate ___, weve had a problem in the parking lot")

3.) You run into marsland

4.)They contact you and ask you where your car is, you say at home why? they ask about the boot, you say you have no clue what theyre talking about and they must have the wrong car and theyre like wtf mate.

5.)???????
