So i have a boot on my car

I decided instead of paying my $400 of parking fines i will simply remove my tire and put on the spare.

yea thats going to be a big FUCK YOU to public safety when they realize their booted car is gone. i will then precede to Home Depot and rent a saw for an hour for about 40 bucks and cut the boot off. I will then place the boot back where my car was booted.

right. well this isn't going to happen. as entertaining as it would have been, it's not going to happen. even if the OP managed to get the boot off (doubtful), the traffic enforcement department would just snigger and summon him to court. sigh... no one delivers anymore.

except the clamp isn't from traffic enforcement dept. (or however you call it in the us/ca) but from public safety from his private school, so it might work :)

Oh good, now you can pay the $400 in parking fines PLUS the ~$500 for a new boot.   

I helped someone do this about 5 years ago.  He got fucked and they'll just tow and impound your car the next time they see it. 

But lols anyways.

Ok, I'm pretty sure those types of boots use a cylinder lock. check and see if the key hole is a regular slit or a circle.

If its a circle, heres what you do... Take a bic pen, the cheap kind with the plain plastic tube body. Take the point and ink out so you're just left with the tube. Cut slits in the end about 1/4 of an inch into the tube lengthways, 4 - 5 slits should be good. take your key and jam it in the cylinder lock and twist it around until you unlock the boot.

If it works on kryptonite bike locks it should work on that boot.
