.MASSHOLE.Depends how hard and on what you ski them. I would ski em in pow in-bounds, but not on hard pack.
Thanks
_faaafunction as well as other burlier pin bindings inbounds. average. but why would you put that on an inbound/side country ski?
If they functioned well as an alpine binding I would consider putting them on my 108s because I like to ski those in and out of bounds and to save some $$$. Maybe i'll just have to buy another pair of skis. bummer ;)

Just go for a second pair of skis. Or insert them.

If you re planning to ski 50/50 resort/out of bounds, take a frame touring binding. Like the Tryolia Adrenalin or the Salomon Guardian. They ll suit your needs definitely better.
shotvetToying with getting some of these this spring. Do they function well in and out of bounds?
I would confidently ski mine in-bounds. I have mine on some 177 coomba 104, but that's just my filming ski since inshoot lots of BC. I did some hucking on them the other day and they felt great. 10/10.

If the Sammy C edit where he's skiing them almost the whole edit is any indication. You can definitely ski them inbounds if you're limited to one pair of skis. A buddy of mine has been skiing them inbounds for two years (he's a ski coach and didn't end up getting to tour on them like he had hoped when he bought them) and they're still rock solid.
Salt-N-Pepa, Rob Base, All 4 One, Color Me Badd, Biz Markie, Young MC and C+C Music Factory are who is listed but I have read Vanilla Ice and Tone Loc were also part of some stops...hoping they are also coming. So stoked!
Bought x games tickets. A bit annoyed I had to buy them since I work at the mountain its being held at so was hoping to get them for free/ at least a discount, but hopefully its still worth it paying full price.
Also before that my last big "purchase" was a paying a 1000$ ticket so my budget is not going to well this month.

saskskierAgreed. I was looking between some cheaper Giro's or cheaper Fizik's, but then came across a ridiculous deal on these and jumped on it.
I'll be looking at those Giros or the new Shimano RC9 or RC7. The RC9s are stupidly expensive, so that's only if I could find a pair on sale and steeply discounted but I prefer to shop at my LBS if I can and they don't really have steep sales like that often.
I just know I want something with a Boa enclosure for my next pair.

I wish I had gotten to try on the MTN Explore, I have a feeling that+booster strap=money for flex. The MTN Lab is nice, but I've found that I've taken to a softer flexing boot in recent years.
Why do you want less travel though? Just doing more uphill?
Yeah just don't ride as much bike park as I used to. But what's funny is that even though it's less travel than the Tracer (not the new one that just came out) it actually has a longer wheelbase and slacker head angle due to more modern geometry. So really it's more suited for downhill in a geometry sense but weighs less than the Tracer due to it being shorter travel. The boost spacing is gonna keep it more stable as well so I will have no problem riding bike park or captain ahab in Moab. Haha
swordsandpensBought a new whip: 02 Audi S6. Commute to the hill is about to be much more fun.
dope! I am in love with my Audi wagon. Perfect skimobile, she's an absolute beast in the snow. Get ready to get raped by maintenance bills, but I'm sure you're well aware of what you're getting into. Definitely worth all the hassle though, I've never driven anything that even comes close to the driving experience of an Audi.

Thanks man! That's pretty much exactly why I bought it, nothing like driving in an Audi. A good friend of mine has a stage 3 b5 s4 meth injected and all, and it really sold me on how audis can drive. Then I found this and fell in love as it was pretty much everything I was looking for in a car.

I've driven my brothers, slightly tuned, 04' A4 wagon a ton and it's awesome.
That said, I've got a stock 06' BMW 325i and it's absolutely phenomenal. I was always a bit skeptical about BMW's claim on being 'the drivers car', but after a 2600km, 3 day road trip down through Yellowstone, Grand Teton, etc, I'm sold.
Even though it's stock, the handling is so smooth and tight, yet unbelievably comfortable for crushing the miles. It's also rwd and I can turn the traction control off when I want to have extra fun.
