you probably bought a fishing license to show your friends and act like you are some big time fisherman or some shit
nobody buys a fishing license lol
Most of my friends fish as much as I do. Multiple times a week. Not to mention we sometimes use well established boat put ins where there is sometimes a warden checking licenses. And I'm just respectful of MT fish and game laws seeing as they get a lot of their state income via license fees and since I am working towards a career in MT Fish and Wildlife I would do well to abide by their laws. One of the few laws I give a shit about and would care to follow. However, I didn't buy one last summer because I was not yet a resident of Montana and was too broke to afford the out of state price. But for less than $40 and to potentially avoid a multi hundred dollar ticket it's a no brainier.
Would much rather buy a fishing license than Xanax bars lmao.
M.Mneed a truck or suv for whipping around Canada and the states next winter to hit street, and i love old 4runners ahha
Former 99' Runner owner here. It was awesome, but if you are planning on doing lots of road trips, be prepared to pay a crapload on gas. Granted, mine was lifted and on 33" tires, but the best I ever got was 400km on a tank of gas. I averaged closer to 300km/tank.
Initially, I planned on doing a bunch of long road trips, sleeping in the back of it, but I've done way more now I have a car that busts out 8-900km between fill-ups.
Not trying to put you off, but figured I'd share my experience.

Smart thing to consider before buying a pick up or SUV. I love pick ups but it sucked when my truck was my daily driver. Way nicer to be able to go an extra 150 miles between fill ups in a forester with a smaller tank.
Bought this little beaut! Furniture included. Sex mirrors. On a lake AND a river. 4 car detached garage/shop not shown, but included. Closing on April 20th!

Not a 4runner owner, but my roommate has a stock 97 4runner and it gets similar mpg to my 2003 frontier which is almost 500km to a tank.

DAMN! That thing is seriously beautiful. I'm also curious on the cost if you dont mind me asking. Where abouts is this gem located? Is this a permanent homestead or just a camp?

It is in Easton, WA. We are moving from Snoqualmie Pass, WA. We will be living here full time. Endless outdoor opportunities.
powderdrunkieI work construction so it's all over the place. Mostly Seattle. Right now working in Tacoma building a giant grow op for the rez.
Oh right on, you don't mind the commute? I'm always on the lookout for a place to live later in life that allows for a lot of outdoor opportunities and not much of a commute to work or the outdoors.

Commute isn't as bad as most people think. An hour and fifteen to the site right now. I'd say the average is about 45-50 minutes. No traffic. Come home to peace and quiet.
Chewy.Good for you man! I'm just about to start my career. So I'm finally starting to look at homes. It's exciting stuff.
Fuck bud it's a nightmare. Good luck. Been shopping since November. Finally locked in the right spot. Be patient! Don't settle for a compromise and wheel and deal when you find the right place! First time home buyer right here.

Yeah, definitely not something you want to just jump into. I have to move to a shitty small town for my first two to three years. I'm not stoked about that but it's the way it is. So I'll have a while to shop around before I move back up to Whitefish.

Everything about it takes time. My wife and I were on the verge of killing each other. PATIENCE! The purchase is over now but the last few months have been fucked. Whitefish is dope btw.
