DekerzI needed new pants this year and it was a tie between those bibs or the harlaut sweatpants from last year.
Yeah i was in the same boat. I actually bought other armada pants at the beginning of the season but after seeing them a few times in person i finally decided to pull the trigger on them.
mike759Yea I went to the shop lookin for full tilts and the guy said this was the next best thing because they fit my foot better and are still 3-piece
Next best thing? Lol full tilts are wack...those boots are way higher quality than full tilt
Steezy_StreetJust picked this up. 2014 Husqvarna TE 300.
Anyone else ride?
Nice! Husky has been stepping up their quality lately. I rode and raced bikes for most of my childhood (4-17 years old). My dad and younger brother still ride and I'll fool around on theirs. My dad has a 2014 CRF450 and my brother has a 2015 YZ250F. Such a fun hobby/sport, but ridiculously expensive.

It's not really THAT expensive. I have an old WR400 that still kicks major ass and I bought it for 2500 bucks. other than gear and going on trips it hasn't cost any more money. It has not been anywhere near as expensive as skiing for me. But I guess it's all relative. I mostly trail ride but I love it! Putting the bike away for the winter always brings me to tears.

I meant more of the racing side and upkeep of the bikes. The amount of money I've seen others put into their bikes (rebuilding the engines, suspension, etc.) is through the roof. Also, the stacks people blow on their setup is pretty crazy. The RV and trailer combos can be upwards of $100K. The people I used to be friends with that raced dove head first into the sport, and basically dedicated any free time to it. That's when it gets expensive
I should have been more specific. If you're just trail riding/hitting practice tracks, it shouldn't be too expensive after the initial investment of bike and gear. That's if you're consistent with the upkeep of your bike though.

I mean it's not a very good comparison but when I was a kid my dad probably sunk 3 or 4 grand into a few different bikes for me over the years and a yz250 for him, a trailer, and gear. I know for sure I've dropped well over 3000 on ski gear
I've been itching to get a bike again, but I don't have a garage or the dough
Chubz.Always wanted to ride a husqvarna how is it?
Last bike I was on was a old yf250 2 stroke. So much fun.
So fun. You can't beat the 300 2 stroke for trail riding and enduro. Heaps of power and so light. The European brands. KTM, husky, sherco, beta etc have been killing it. I sold my ktm 250 to buy this. Ended up going with husky because everyone is on orange now.

True I find it you maintain your bike and keep up to date with your do it at home maintenance (air filters etc) you can keep the cost down.
Such a fun hobby! I only ride trail and do a few enduro events here like the 12 hour, 8 hour and 6 hour races. We have pretty epic forests around Sydney for riding. Lots of technical terrain and can ride all year round. No winter pack up.
You could always convert your bike to one of those snow bikes which have been popping up recently and I believe will be at winter x games this year. Looks like heaps of fun.
