PartyBullshiitPrevious grinder took a shit yesterday. Got a decent deal on Amazon for this one. Amazon worker set off my ring cameras at 5am delivering It. I’m all about fast delivery but damn Amazon you’re working your peeps too hard.
This one is killer. I am a tea guy, but my brothers use this one. Three years in and all that has happened was the paint on the button wearing off from the shear amount of use.

All the reviews were pretty positive and it made every major list of good grinders for the money. Not trying to spend $300-400 for a fucking grinder.
Skate shop near me has this blowout for last year’s inventory. 50% off already marked down prices. Went in for grip tape, walked out with a $17 chocolate board
It's been an expensive couple of weeks. Normally, I choose one component to upgrade each year on my bike. I missed all of last year's bike riding recovering from an injury, and I'm finally back this year. I decided to go all in, new TRP brakes, SRAM Axs drivetrain, and Enve wheels. About the only thing left stock on my bike is the handlebar and frame.
So as somebody who loves bourbon I should have known this. But I've never owned the rubber round ice cube trays.
We have some where I just moved. Could not for the life of me figure out how to fill them. Even if I was patient and put as much water as would fit I'd get them half full at absolute best.
Idk if it's "obvious" but took me over a week living here to figure them out. Def feel better going forwars in life lol.
nmwninjartIt was an expensive month-
Summer ski trip,
Surface sniper skis,
And an Ebike.
This month was a VERY expensive month compared to March.
I bought a car today to replace the one that got totaled last week. Deer vs Car situation and the car lost.
Quite an upgrade from a 2013 Ford escape (felt like a dinosaur) to the 2023 Edge with super low miles that I just got today.

Congrats on the new car! Bummer, you had to replace it due to a deer colliding with you but now you have the new ride and can enjoy it.

bennwithtwonsInsurance taking care of things for you?
I did get some back for the dead one.
Thankfully I had some $ from the military days stashed away in a CD which helped me a ton so no monthly payments!
What a difference it makes driving a car that's a whole decade newer!

That's a relief, glad to hear it! I'm sorta waiting for something to happen to my 2011 subaru that requires me to upgrade but it just keeps rolling along like a champ. Enjoy your new ride!
@Slowbro After talking with the guys down at the fly shop I ended up going with the Echo Traverse, 9ft 5wt. Everyone there said they liked the rod just as much as the clearwater and the reel would be an upgrade over my current one.

Word, I have an echo 8 wt as my saltwater / pike rod and I really like it so I think you made a good choice
I guess it was the trio of 1) local shop having a blow out sale for months trying to get rid of Covid era dead stock 2) looming tariffs 3) wanting to try different manufacturers. But yeah, I got carried away. Still another deck and pair of trucks I bought not shown. So cheap compared to skiing though tbh. I think that’s part of the problem. I feel I can justify prices easier vs skis I bought in November
I went to the theater a few weekends ago and spent the entire time laughing about the idea of buying the Accountant 2 Popcorn RV tie in they had in the lobby.
My new big teak cutting board came in today. I'm not totally sold on the microplastics scare, but it feels better to know I'm getting sawdust in my food instead of nylon now

Wood has antibiotic properties that limit the spread of germs across the surface of cutting board
And it looks better too
Time to make your manosphere tik toks while eating bloody steaks and runny eggs off of it
SlushSeasonGreat purchase. I bought the QC35s 9 years ago. They're a little banged up and I've replaced the foam a few times, but i still use them daily
I hope they are great. Paid 170€ for them. ANC in my airpods was not strong enough and sound quality was kinda shit. Almost went crazy at work today.
I'm autistic enough that I can't live with bad sound quality. Figured I should go with something from a real audio company.
