I've had them for a year no real issues that are too bad. I always got really bad shin bang in my previous boots, but have had none what so ever in these. However if I don't have them perfectly adjusted THE TOE BANG IS REAL. Fortunately they are fairly good about absorbing shock. I only just recently got heel bruise and that was completely my fault. Other downside is I find they aren't very warm. It seems water gets in them a bit too easy and just gets cold fast. We have wet winters where I am from so that probably contributes. But at least the inserts come out fairly easy and get dry fast. The strapping setup is on point though, so adjustable, and it can take a beating. However the latches are aluminium so it you do beat them up take a file to them and get rid of the spurs or you will have torn mittens or like me a few gashes in your hands. Over all solid boot for someone starting into park or is on a budget
