Liberty Skis athletes Loki Wickman-Ratthe and Nigel Ziegler welcomed Anatole Tuzlak, Brendan Mackay, Ryan Statham, and Cam Keith to their hometown of Nelson, British Columbia. Known for the deep interior snowpack, pillows, and quiet atmosphere, the team spent the next four days exploring Whitewater Ski Resort. Check out the best of the Whitewater’s secret spots – charging pillows, stomping cliffs, and sending jumps.

Liberty Skis // Kootaney Pass

The Liberty Skis team met up in Rossland, British Columbia in Canada, where a large, looming storm was expected to hit the Selkirks. Kootenay Pass is a backcountry haven nestled between the towns of Cranbrook and Nelson. The area is home to vast amount of easily-accessible ski touring. We met up with Fritz Keller, a legendary local guide who knew the region like the backside of his hand. Eager to get out and score deep, early season turns, the team headed for the pass and were happy to be greeted with deep snow. The snow was so light and deep that the team ended up hiking and skiing for five straight days. After the trip wrapped up, the team celebrated a truly amazing adventure and packed up to chase the next storm cycle.

Liberty Skis // Spring Vacation 2.0

As the season winds down and the spring days get warmer, skiers from across North America migrate to Whistler, BC. Liberty athlete Max Moffatt flew into Vancouver in hopes of riding a couple weeks of spring park with Teal Harle. The early days of the trip was a constant struggle battling the wet coastal weather. Luckily, the boys scored a couple sunny days before the spring storms rolled in. Huge thanks to Whistler Blackcomb for having us. We hope you enjoy our video.
