Until 20 years ago, the republicans were largely pro mass-immigration because it's good for businesses, and the democrats were against it because it's bad for workers. Unfortunately the democrats got tied up in social issues and flipped on immigration, allowing the country to outsource the bottom of the economy to foreigners. All the young American men who would have been working those jobs have just been dying instead.

In the mid 1970s, the US had the lowest percentage of immigrants in the past 100 years. That is also when the teenage labor force participation was at its highest (nearly 60%). Crappy food service, landscaping, and construction jobs used to be jobs for teenagers, a way for them to get their feet in the labor market. Now, those jobs go primarily to immigrants, partially because they're willing to work for less and partially because a 40 year old Venezuelan guy is probably a better worker than a 16 year old American that's in school until 3pm. Sure, that's great for the business owner, but it's not great for the teenager who no longer gets an income or work experience.

I’m fairly certain that James Taiclets role as the CEO of Lockheed does not give him the right or role to use nuclear weapons, enter in agreements with other countries regarding nuclear weapons, or procure and maintain his own nuclear weapons.

Like you said its not that hard to excerise for an hour a few times a week. And a lot of non-prosesed whole foods are super affordable (beans, lentils, rice, chickpeas etc).
People need to learn how to cook good food from basic ingrediants, how to read labels and make time to move their bodies around.

I think his argument is regarding the quick turnaround of MRNA vaccines that we were told would prevent covid & transmission. Most people agree that the vax wasn't very effective and didn't prevent illness or transmission.
