The downside of driving yourself to the closest hospital that takes your insurance is that you’ll get a resident to put your humerus back together and they’ll manage this.
Have to get a second surgery because the screws were not anchored and caused an infection at the site.

Definitely looks that way from the side. I’ve been doing PT for it and just pushing through the pain thinking it was part of the recovery process not knowing my humerus now has a joint in the middle of it.

Idk how it works but you may be entitled to compensation. also, go to a different doctors office and have them pay for it.

Yeah got these X-rays yesterday at my local hospital and their sports medicine department is doing the repair surgery; much better care and why I knew something was up in the first place when my knee reconstruction from them in February healed faster than shoulder surgery elsewhere 18 months ago.
Broke it originally when I caught an edge switch, fell right onto my elbow and got a complete spiral fracture of the humerus. Drove myself to the nearest hospital after getting sledded down and ended up with what I now know was a terrible surgical team.

Building a paper trail at the moment; the hospital where I had my surgery never bothered to send any records to my PCP.
