My gf and I adopted this little nugget yesterday from a rescue shelter! We haven’t decided on a name for her yet , but she is already making herself more than comfy at her new forever home!

armchair_skierCalicos are so sweet! Name her Vishnu Wet 189
She has a very girly personality, so her name needs to reflect as such. But she is the biggest cutest little nugget in the world! Super playful, very intuitive, and is a total captain cat napper! I think she is around 4-5 weeks old. We r buying her a collar today with a bell, so she can be a little fashionista rocking that.
Hit my chest on my bars bouncing off of a table top and quiet literally almost died somehow I recovered and rode out of it sooooooooooo that was exciting bahahaha
Jesus watchin my back on that one
Got out with the 4x5 camera the last couple of days and took some pretty fun shots.
It's actually hilarious whenever I bust this thing out... As soon as I find a shot I like and a good location, a ton of random American, European, and Chinese tourists start hovering around trying to take the same photo with their cell phones... The Chinese will even start holding their phones right next to the camera as if they're going to get the exact same shot or something.
Americans, and some Europeans actually will hand me their phone and start asking me to take photos of them with their partner or whatever... To which I usually tell them that I'm working, but they can hire me and I give them my card. Often they then protest and say shit like it's their last day or something.
If they press me really hard for it and whinge and plead, I just take the absolute worst shot of them from a bad angle and they quickly fuck off lol. Like, bitch I'm not your maid, I'm working here!

that thing is so sick, thats hilarious about people hovering around, although i definitely do the same a little when i see others with cameras, just try an figure out what their seeing/shooting.
its funny having a camera of any type out puts a target on your back for ppl wanting photos taken of them.

I had this italian couple come up to me yesterday, ask me all these questions while I'm obviously trying to work "SiR... SiR... SiRSiRSiR... iS tHaT.. cAmErA?" lol.. then ask if I was a photographer (which, even if I'm not professional - It is pretty fucking obvious if I'm using a camera made out of wood - you don't ask someone if theyre a painter if theyre in the middle of painting a painting), and then pushed me hard for me to take a photo of them - when there were dozens of other people around who were available and also spoke English - but they thought they were going to get some professional shot out of me so long as they gave me their random android thing.
I ended up taking a photo of them just to get them off my ass, but I didn't move from where I was standing, so the background was just a random wall with some vomit stains on the ground and some other people in the shot holding ipads above their heads. To top it off, I gave it the most absolutely atrocious angle. Just enough to where it was obviously off-kilter, but not enough to where it seemed on-purpose. It was *chef's kiss* perfectly hideous and I hope they make it their profile photo...

People ask me to take their picture while I’m working all the time and inevitably are disappointed when I say yea and ask them to hand me their phone.
But for what they want a phone picture is fine and 9/10 times if they email me the next day I won’t respond even if I remembered to save that random photo of someone at whatever I was covering before I had to clear my cards for the next thing.
I used to bus around with a 4x5 in NL for a few assignments. Actually got stopped by the police a couple of times whilst I was shooting but both times they were just super curious. A lot of people don’t recognise medium or large format cameras. What film stock are you using just out of interest? You’ve got pretty nice midtones there

I shoot most of my 4x5 black and white stuff on Tmax 100. The Tmax films are my favourites for black and white because I can get a really really solid negative with them and have a ton of room to play with in the darkroom. They also have pretty manageable reciprocity failure - far better than Fomapan in my experience. I still use Fomapan on occasion, but it's not my favourite thing.
It's not cheap, but I really like it and I know it like the back of my hand. One day I'll probably buy a 100 pack of HP5 or FP4 and realize that I like it more and make a switch, but in the meantime, Ill stick with what I know well.
The Tmax stuff is also just totally sharp as shit. I've been shooting Tmax 400 almost exclusively for my go-to 35mm stock for the last 4 or 5 years because it just works so well for me and I can push it to 1600 and it still looks clean as hell.
Made a trial of my design today. It mostly didnt work out but a few parts of this glove will defenitly carry onto the final. Need to readjust my measurments and come back at it again. Frankly I liked the 5(ish) piece design and it sewed together nicely and the seams felt tough.
Heading back to NY for the first time in a couple years. Never fly on the holidays but giving it a whirl. Usual airport travel shit but hoping I make my connection
I had a cool design planned to use old skis as the supports to hold the skis. Wayyyyyy too challenging so went with the basic rack design. Yes those are og Look Pivots from the 80-90's
Dope label. Halloweens over but I’m still in the orange feels.
Any good??? Lots of pumpkin ales r hit or miss . I guess if ur going into the beer with that attitude it’s ok. But if u actually planning on drinking it. The beer can be tough at times to finish

It was good. A tad sweet for a 9% since it’s a milkshake beer.
