Got a lot of love for tmax. It’s forgiving but you can still get great results that you can really refine in PS. HP5 is great, but maybe i’m using it wrong- I don’t think it’s a huge amount better than tmax? That said colour on MF was always more my thing. Been shooting Portra for years for my landscape work- considering trying out Fuji though, they had one film range which actually had amazing greens which i’ve found to be rare for colour film. Cannot for the life of me remember the specific film name but when i last checked a year or two ago they’d discontinued it so the remaining stock was $$$. Something like pro-X? Something like that
PacificRimJobI shoot most of my 4x5 black and white stuff on Tmax 100. The Tmax films are my favourites for black and white because I can get a really really solid negative with them and have a ton of room to play with in the darkroom. They also have pretty manageable reciprocity failure - far better than Fomapan in my experience. I still use Fomapan on occasion, but it's not my favourite thing.
It's not cheap, but I really like it and I know it like the back of my hand. One day I'll probably buy a 100 pack of HP5 or FP4 and realize that I like it more and make a switch, but in the meantime, Ill stick with what I know well.
The Tmax stuff is also just totally sharp as shit. I've been shooting Tmax 400 almost exclusively for my go-to 35mm stock for the last 4 or 5 years because it just works so well for me and I can push it to 1600 and it still looks clean as hell.

I have many times. My gf loves them. Lindemans is her personal favorite. They’re tasty no doubt but usually weak as shit and pricy as hell because of how much raw fruit is used in production.
I love lindemans Frambois, but yeah, at 2.7% it's not much bang for your buck

There's definitely many higher % lambics out available, but yeah as a rule they cost more/come in smaller bottles. Tried flanders red ale recently, turns it up to 11 with the fruitiness and sourness (and is still like 5-7%).

Didn’t they have a huge scandal about the posted ABV being like 8% but in reality it was like 2%? Mix that with the price tag and I heard some people weren’t happy

Not familiar with that. That would suck. I will say it for sure wasn’t 2%.
Good thing it’s not 2019 anymore. Lol. Hopefully they truly fixed whatever the issues were. Through it seemed to be limited to a special run they did. Not the entire line.
