Goofy and regular

I know for boarding there is regular and goofy riding. Now for skiing some people feel more comfortable riding rails right foot forward and some left, now in the skiing situation is there regular and goofy riding?

There's natural and un natural. However it's not universal like goofy and regular. Each depends on the natural spin of the rider.

No sorry I phrased that vaguely, I meant weather you prefer riding right foot forward or left foot forward on rails. sorry for the confusion!

well i do skate goofy, which means i have my right foot forward. My natural way of sliding rails is right foot forward as well. Im pretty sure there is a positive correlation between your skate stance and which way you slide a rail

i skate regular and slide right foot forward. your rules don't apply to me

Some of us don't have preferred sides, if you wanna be good at switchups its best to feel comfy doing either.
If u dont feel comfy riding left foot forward, try sliding that way more. Should help :)

I understand and I am comfortable with both, however think about if your at a new mountain and see this really sketchy ass challenging rail, there has to be one way (left foot or right foot forward) that you would feel more comfortable trying it for the first time with.

My natural spin direction is counterclockwise, but when I do rails it's easier to go clockwise with my left foot forward because it makes me think about my body position more.
