i think max was getting sick of the loose calls so he did another tips under. mikkel looked pissssed lmao. honestly i didn’t like the loose calls but it didnt change the game so no harm no foul i guess

I think its a snowfall issue but definitely agree, especially since slvsh hasn't really had a jump in any contest since a lot of the new techier low rotation jump tricks started becoming popular. Would love to see slvsh cup on the kimbo setup someday.

Also adding that the longer games usually have jumps, feel like rails are too hit or miss even for the best riders generally.

max and mikkel was a great game. max isn’t fucking around this year, he’s pulling out some heavy calls (ollie lip 2 and noses under firecracker 2 on were crazy) but props to valentin for the reffing he killed it

Yeah, loved the reffing too. I am all for a bit loose, especially on defense since youre probaly doing tricks your not that comfortabel with most of the time. But that b3s swap was to loose, its okay since max was up and i get that you wanna keep the game going. But you just cant count that

its 100% a weather issue in Andorra. They've had a few rough seasons since we started back up after covid. It was looking great in feb but we had warm weather and rain. The goal is always to have a park similar to 2018 but Mother Nature just needs to provide. The park crew is the best out. Last year there was grass across half the park until 5 days before the cup.

Moving forward it still remains atop the list of requests! prey for a better winter next year!

fully agree but I will say Ferdi was def early off on that backswap transfer. Apart from that great consistent judging.

I do wonder if that was a joke? Like maybe I'm dumb but I would've thought Kuura had been hitting that wall prior to the game considering how fucked that trick was and him getting it first try.

Did you see the tracks? There was just one into it, I think they are genuinely just that good. I was so worried about Kuura when he took off, I was unbelievably impressed

Damnnnn she got wrecked. Really enjoyed the game though, that was fun to watch.

I also just rewatched A hall vs Quinn Wolferman 20̷18 hahahaha A hall got wrecked on the hands in pockets, gasping oh noooooooo with the wind knocked out of him. Good stuff. I was reminiscing about Quinns old hands in pockets, those were fun.

Just a detail in the matej vs kuura video I noticed: Matej literally says "I was trying to fuck my opponent but it turns out it didn't work out" and they both laugh.

I see a lot of comments talking about the "spirit of slvsh" and I think the spirit is literally just throwing crazy shit at your opponent and making them uncomfortable, "do my trick and I'll do yours" kind of thing. People for some reason have this mentality that you should throw easy sets out of respect, or play within ur opponents bag, and I've just never seen it that way. I see it more like Matej does.

Also spamming the same tricks is lame, but not because it's "not in the spirit of the game", it's just boring as a viewer when you know the outcome every time and the games are short. It's more like it's against the spirit of content, like you should try to win but also SLVSH is entertainment for people, and there's nothing entertaining about spamming tricks that will 100% give your opponent a letter every time. Not against the spirit of the game but just not fun to watch either.


TL;DR fuck with your opponent but with variety, it's more fun to watch.
