Alright NS, story time about my adventure being high as fuck at Montreal international airport. Ive never experienced anything quite like that one…

Its finally the end of my sailing season! I have a 5hr flight across Canada and an overnight stay in Vancouver and I was planning on being as fucked up on weed as Ive been in a while. Im sure as hell going to flight high and gliiiiide. A few days before signing off work for the last time, I stopped at a dispensary. There was a strain called “Amnesia Haze” for 56$/8th that got my interest. Since I had money, why not splurge a bit.

Fast forward to getting off day. I arrive at the airport with about 2hrs to spare. Its not much time, so I check in my luggage and run to the parking lot as fast as I could to roll a doob and smoke one. I find a quiet area near the back and enjoy only half a joint before feeling pretty high. I ditch the roach, pick up my bags and begin to head back… then it all went wrong.

I walk to the end of the walkway, then could not remember where in the fuck I just came from. I look left, right and behind me… all of it was foreign! “Where in the fuck is the airport” was a screaming over the Slipknot concert going on in my mind. Now I am at an elevator lobby. “Now did I use stairs? Because I can sure remember not taking the elevator. So I go for it. I look at the buttons and I did not even know what floor I am on! Why the fuck does it start at 5 and end at 9? What are number? Where the fuck am I? I randomly press 6. Bugger; Im on floor 6. Awesome. I go down to 5: maybe it leads to the airport.
I walk out and see a completly repeating parking lot. Like an old video game that sections are identical because the creator wanted the illusion is grandeur. Was I here? Because now I am getting worried. I can see the airport, but no way to cross over. Now I feel trapped and dumb… not to mention extremely high. I get back into the elevator and press 7. Doors open and the scenery looked different. I notice a brighter area down the parking, so I go for it hoping for the best. I was best case! A bridge over to the airport. As I am crossing the bridge, I check the time only to notice: Its only been 20mins. Still time for security.

I enter the airport structure and find a big problem: I am completly lost. There are only 2 choices: left or right. Right it was. Now, I cannot remember if I have ever been here. Was it Toronto? Vancouver? Damn Im confusing the layouts. Ah right, Montreal! I walked passed so many ticket machines I lost count. What floor am I on? I must be on the floor above departures. So I rush onto an escalator and ended up in Arrivals. Fuck! Now where the fuck do I get back up there. I walk in the opposite direction for a bit and found an elevator. Ok, now Im back on track. You can do this man!

Security went really well. No luggage checks!

Now that Im passed security, time to find my gate. My ticket says 26C. Ok, terminal C, here I go. Yeahhh it was right on the opposite side of the airport. So I hurry up, while enjoying the walk in a familiar area. I get nearer the gate; 23,24,25… where the fuck is 26??? Fuck! Its the damn door to hogwarts?!?
I pull out my ticket and 26c was…my seat. My gate was A1, right beside security. Exactly where I came from. Well, walk back. From then on, it went ok. But still an adventure to the next day because I was so fucking high.
