zuesYea i used to legit be an addict. Now I've been sober almost a year. It was a fun and fucked up part of my life but I'll always have the good / bad memories of it. Nothing worse than being paranoid after a 24 hour binge.

If you're getting good coke it's not speedy. Pretty much all USA cocaine comes from Mexico and its stomped on my the cartel and loaded with levamisole which is a cattle dewormer / stimulant.

The best cocaine I've had always steered clear of Mexico. Argentina and Spain cocaine was the best i've ever had. No Cartel bullshit and the high was just a mellow warm euphoria. It was hands down nothing like shit you get here in America.

It's fun talking about cocaine because it stimulates that same pleasure receptor in your brain just thinking / talking about it.

HypeBeastHard pass on cocaine and any other drugs that can totally kill you the first time you use. Anyone reading, don't try and argue that they're safe. If you truly believe that, your intelligence is laughable but I'd be happy to explain the possible outcomes.

Always wanted to try psilocybin though, definitely for its beneficial effects and the fact it isn't tested for regularly and it's pretty safe as long as you aren't on any antidepressants (risk of serotonin syndrome...and even then you'd probably be OK). Much safer than LSD actually too. Would love to try LSD and MDMA in a controlled setting tho, assuming the product is pure and dosed appropriately. Fun fact, you can get rhabdomyolysis from LSD- seen it before.

Edit: you were asking about ketamine. How do people use it recreationally? IV or orally? Really the biggest risk with IV is respiratory arrest but that can be avoided with proper dosing and rate of administration. Also Google "emergence reactions".

HypeBeastJesus christ man lol. How did you function??? I'm taking 2-4 weeks off to bring down my tolerance. I mean my tolerance was still pretty low but I find that introspection is harder to find if I'm toking every day.

zuesI mean if you're doing pure forms of cocaine and heroin in correct doses and being responsible with it, the actual death rate is pretty low. The problem lies when you're getting tainted substances that are cut with fentanyl, levamisole and other cutting agents. Obviously the other issue is that a lot of people can't do them responsibly and end up using too much.

Cocaine does have long term health effects like an enlarged heart and high blood pressure but that's if it's being used consistently. Heroin has some adverse effects if abused as well with regards to brain function.

Testing centers in Europe allow you to mail samples in for testing that will give you a breakdown of everything in it before you use it. I think we should have that here in America... but of course thats a long way away.

My understanding about K is that it is mainly insufflated like coke but i'm sure an IV would work as well.

Rparryou are correct, cocaine can cause heart attack or stroke on any use. Even in healthy people. That's why I can't justify doing it anymore

The other thing that keeps me from doing it is how corrosive to your nose it is. Even if you are sniffing really clean stuff it's only a matter of time until it perforates your septum


Back when I was doing it, I was washing it with acetone, ethanol and choloroform. I was washing ~60% pure stuff and it would come out around 90%. I thought I was a genius and that washing it made it "healtheir", but I quickly realized that concentrating the active ingredient was just as bad as all of the adulterants that I had removed from it.

zuesI definitely go through phases like this. Sometimes I don't want to smoke at all and sometimes I can't stop. Right now it's been a few months of no smoking and it's been nice. I think by summer I'll be back smoking quite a bit.

CrunnchyVanManI'd find a trip sitter that is very experienced with psychedelics and willing to talk and kind of guide you through it. Study up on some Terrence McKenna beforehand too

But also don't go into it expecting much. Low expectations always lead to a better time than not getting what you want if you have a preset idea of what you are going to experience.
