MinggWeird day. My manager called me in to talk to me about me reading books at work. I read while on my breaks or if I have free time. I spend about an hour each day monitoring a sterile field waiting for surgeons where literally the only thing I can do is sit there and wait - I cannot leave the room. So I read a book while I wait. Apparently my coworkers reported me for that because it “gives off a bad vibe.” Like… I’m literally sitting in a room by myself with absolutely nothing to do. So she told me to just download the books in my phone because she doesn’t care if I’m on my phone…???
