BigPurpleSkiSuitMy guitar skills aren't that great yet, but i feel pretty happy with what ive got so far. Maybe i should record just the guitar and then sing over it. Or perhaps give it to a local bluegrass band i know. https://www.newschoolers.com/videos/watch/977201/Shadows
Titus69I actually put some Aquaphor on this morning, and my mom said since I dropped her at work I look a lot better. Seems to arise overnight maybe but on a steroid now and I’ll use it if it’s back tomorrow. Just weird.
JAHBRADORCould be feceyetus. Have you checked your pillow for poo particulate?
Titus69Anyone else ever have redness and dry skin around their eyes? Back home now and just got it looked at a a walk in clinic, no idea what it could be besides a reaction to something or idk, a dermatologist will call me soon but when I’ll be back in slc. Now I’m prescribed a steroid for it, yay for unknown health issues.
MinggIf the irritation is under your eye and lines up with where your mask lies that could very well do it too
BigPurpleSkiSuitI just had a literal Nazi come into my workplace wanting to cash a check.

Titus69Been thinking about a lot of reasons considering it must’ve been a reaction to something and I either think I perfectly touched something then rubbed my eyes and immediately cleaned my hands after or it’s a reaction to maybe a mask, dry air, dirty sheets etc. I’d consider Visine since I use it daily for piff and allergies but just pollen and usually use the same and have since I was young, never seen this still. i have some suspicions from where I work, wearing gloves, touching a lot of products that come in from our factory across seas, but within the last two weeks since this started I did have to wear a legit kn95 mask all day for the first time (Sometimes I’ll start with one then swap to the blue ones cause n95s are annoying lol) instead of the basic blue ones, then I also put on some safety glasses for like 3 seconds I grabbed from work for biking but they were fresh out of the bag. Thinking if absolutely anything aside from an internal problem or touching something that’ll irritate skin, maybe it’s the kn95? Because compared to the blue ones they sit higher on my nose, and my nose is also slightly dry where the cushion is and even I guess what is the edge of my ears but barely. That’s my kinda theory on what it is, cause otherwise it’s maybe the air in SLC, but I’ve lived there for a while now and also grew up with cold and fairly dry air in the fall, I’m looking better now but we’ll see if overnight it comes back and then I’ll use the steroids I was given today, idk my main concern is I’ve never seen it before and it’s only around my eyes, although there is kind of a penny sized dry patch on my wrist but is getting better.
MinggYeah it could very well be any of those things! It doesn’t take much and that’s a really sensitive area. I’m really bad at touching my eyes and am surprised I haven’t had more issues with them in my life lol. I’m sure your dermatologist will have more answers for you!
Titus69Yeah it’s just weird that it’s still nowhere else, but yeah the day I fly back to SLC I’ll be getting a call from a dermatologist here, not sure if I’ll be able to go in person but hopefully by then it’s getting better, but my face is lubed for the night and we’ll see if it stays chill by tomorrow. Don’t wanna on a steroid especially when she said it can weaken my immune system temporarily and if I start it I have to finish the dose or it could make it come back worse.

patagonialukePretty sure I broke a rib or two. Ideal timing though, given that we're just now hitting off season and I won't be missing out on much.
Anyone else broken or badly bruised ribs? I've heard 3-6 weeks of recovery time
cydwhitYeah. I've done it twice. First time took about 4 weeks to be 100%, was back on the bike in one week though, just riding carefully.
2nd time wasn't feeling better at all after 5 weeks, went to a weird chiropractor/massage therapist/whatever hippy crap dude my friend was dating, he said it was dislocated and popped it back in. Felt really wild, and instantly felt 90% better. And then I Venmo'd him $50 haha.
cohen.skierI went skiing yesterday. now im super excited for things to ramp up and start competing. especially wanna have more rail sessions w the boys.
DeebieSkeebiesNice dude. what comps are you eyeing this season? our first day of training for our skiers is like decemeber 12th rain snow or shine lol.

coolflash8Anytime you approach a chick to fuck there's a 25% chance she's on her period
casualYea I have before. A few times. My eyelids (on the outside) get sort of dry, flakey and red and irritated feeling.
I don’t really know what it is, but it sticks around several days and than goes away.
do you use lotion/face moisturizer? I don’t know if jt would help or not. Let me know if you find anything out.
Profahoben_212I really freaking miss working for IFSA and working comps all the time. Best job i ever had. Most fun I've ever had waking up at 4 am everyday
BiffbarfUhhhh... you know a lot of women use birth control that makes it so they don't get regular periods, right?
zuesSaw snoopdog method man and redman in Providence RI in 2009. Lit up a joint and the fire marshal was standing next to me and grabbed it. After another two songs the entire venue was smoking and he left so i lit my second.
CrunnchyVanManprobably not the first person to think of this, but I just thought of the best way to store your herb while skiing, keeps it dry and safe and is airtight too

icedonly thing on my mind now is that somewhere a guy is skiing with an entire Nalgene bottle, with a few grams of weed in it

DeebieSkeebiesits such a cool organization for what they do and all the offerings in competition for athletes of all kinds of ages and abilities all the way up to adults/collegiate and the FWQ circuits and ultimately the Tour. Its helping grow the game so much honestly. More and more kids are interested in skiing outside of the park nowadays than ever before and don't want to ski bumps or chase gates either, they just want to ride and respect the mountain for what it is and bring their friends along with them and its cool to see. Our comp team has grown significantly in the last 2 seasons and lot of it is due to kids getting their friends hyped on it. The community aspect of skiing another huge part of why I love IFSA too. Our Park City 2* comp last season was so much fun to be a part of.
AbiHThey had a 2* at PC? Was that Juniors? I didn't see it on the schedule!
Also, any idea when they are supposed to release event dates?
No.Quarterjesus fucking christ. Just got a call from the dealership, $4000 for replacement with a refurbished transmission. And all they told me was a vague description of an "internal component failure"
