ChunderfaceWhat did u pay?
little1337400, I got my boots from the same shop a few weeks earlier so they knocked 40 off which was nice. I also split them with my mom as a graduation present so technically I only payed 200. Moms are the best

DayMan2 of these, they work so much better than the shitty amazon ones I've used before
aCHILLessecond hand 12.50$
warm asf
iFlipIf you use these at the crag and I see you, I will make fun of you.
DayManYeah dude being able to communicate with your belayer when you’re out of sight/hearing range is totally super lame
bought them mostly for BC skiing anyway
SivvyThat's super sick but what's the deal with the shag carpet
iFlipI've climbed thousands upon thousands of pitches of both rock and ice around the world and never once have needed a radio. Rope signals are entirely adequate and the less useless gear dangling off me the better. The consensus on Rocky Talkies is that they are significantly overpriced and marketed specifically to the yuppie look-at-me crowd. But hey, they probably look "cool" to your friends, clipped right next to your hexes and your PAS.

maaatttI've always been the last roommate into the spot so I've never had living room furnishings. I'm working on it

SivvySafety surpasses steeze
SivvyNever climb with iFlip - noted. Thanks for clearing that up right out of the gate
Safety surpasses steeze in climbing no matter what and if you are as experienced as you say you are you should know that
iFlipIf you need a walkie talkie to feel safe I pity you. Do a little research. Read some climbing forums. Rocky Talkies are to climbing what Ruroc helmets are to skiing. We could make the same exact argument using Rurocs and safety and no one would hate on the idea that someone would laugh.
No hate was implied. I merely said I would laugh. And I would. Lighten up.
SivvyYou where your climbing shoes in the bathroom don't you
iFliplol I don't climb in the gym, bud.

ASSholebomber22Grown ass men seriously arguing over a product literally called rockie talkies, never change NS
r00kieBought one of those tape to aux adapter things. It works but makes a loud enough clicking sound that I keep think my blinker is on. Might add a stereo to the list of truck items.
ASSholebomber22I've used an fm transmitter thing for yearrrrsssss and it's done alright
r00kieI've used them in the past but I hate them when driving long distances where the radio frequency that normally works becomes an actual station and you're constantly trying to change frequency.

SchizoSkierThey don’t really work in littleton, or I was never able to find a good frequency so I just bought a new stereo with apple car play a while back

oldmanskiCan usually snag a good named brand in dash CD unit with Bluetooth/AUX inputs for around $125-150. Should go into your ride pretty easy, wire harness and possibly a plastic pocket if you have the factory double din radio. Let me know if you got any questions. Installed all that stuff into cars for many years.
ASSholebomber22Just when you think you found the station you drive into the finest mariachi music denver mexican radio has to offer 🤌
