cypherswhen they show up pull the canting screws and loctite them. i've had a couple rattle out while skiing and it took forever to get a proper replacement
got them monday. Great idea, my old pair had those come loose and I didn't really think of that.
Still need to push them to 17* lean before this weekend too. Really excited to see how the upgraded cam strap compares to my old pair with boosters. Worst comes to worst I throw boosters after this weekend.
@onenerdykid these have mimic liners right? how important is it to mold? I wont be able to hit the shop before the pow days this weekend. Will I be fine or should I ride my XTD's/ touring setup until I can get them molded.

i swapped the cam strap after a week. beats the hell out of most other stock straps but still just didn't have the rebound i was used to. interested to hear how you like it tho
also never heat molded my liners, only took a few days of skiing for them to mold to my foot. as long as you're pretty set on whatever footbed you have in you should be good. but i'll defer to someone with fitting experience on that

good news. I have my footbeds from my last pair so chilling on that. Sounds like I get to ride my good skis this weekend then.

This is the 20/21 model year, and it does have a Mimic Platinum liner. You can ski it out of the box (nothing wrong with that) but in order to mold the Mimic material to your foot & leg, it will need to go through the Mimic oven-fitting process.
The cam strap that comes on this model is a very direct, "static" strap - it is not elastic like a Booster. So this will give a bit more precision and initial stiffness to the boot, the Booster will give more shock absorption and a slightly softer initial flex.
Christmas present to myself, took a while to find a copy in good shape but I finally found a minty one. Ideal coffee table book for me as Marine, skier and armchair historian.

I think I got the prequel

Holster, not the gun. BP tactical makes some quality shit but man did they get expensive since I last used them. I currently have a Hidden Hydrid Holster IWB/OWB but wanted something a bit slimmer for my new gun.

How do you like it? I put a dot on my ccw and need a new apendix carry holster

They have an 8-10 week lead time lol so no idea yet. My buddy has their mini wing and I have some mag pouches from them. They make solid shit. Their other AIWB holster looks really nice and you can swap to OWB too but it's hard finding reviews.
Is a red dot on pistols the new rage? More than a few people I know have one now

They're a good time. Can't think of a reason not to use one, unless you're worried about cost or maybe you have an heirloom-esque gat you don't want to defile.
A dot is kinda like a pair of skis you really click with, they don't do the work for you but they'll make you a better skier.
