jellomellowhow much Eddie bauer stuff do you have
JAHpowNot enough, never enough.
gapersarefriendsDo you have one of those new no baffle whatever down jackets?
JAHpowAre you talking the evertherm? I don't have that, I have the microtherm stormdown and love it.
gapersarefriendsWhichever one the new one is, not familiar w the names
JAHpowYeah the evertherm is their latest and greatest. Supposedly it's really warm...it's also rather expensive...
gapersarefriendsHow do you compare it to your usual north face/patagonia puffy jackets? I have an older strafe one and really considering getting a new one
patagonialukeIf you're willing to drop $300 on a mid layer, get the Patagonia Micro Puff. Most impressive piece of apparel I've used in a long time. (that's if you're looking for max warmth/weight)
.Fry2014 181 on3p filthy riches from a fellow nser. $150, seemed like a steal to me.

JAHpowThe evertherm isn't a puffy, nor is it even a micro puff, it's a continuous layer of unbunching down. So there's no cold spots. It's just super warm and incredibly minimal. Is your strafe a parka? Because the evertherm isn't, and to be honest I thought the shell material was not up to abuse. But like I said, I don't own one or have worn one around so my opinion on that could be misleading.
.lenconThose Mavics are so sick. Sport mode on em in zippy, and the video quality is bitchin.
mike759Would 191 cm skis be right for a 6'4" person?
gapersarefriendsWeight doesn't really matter too much to me but ya my dad and brother both have one and if i had the funds i would too
DaphMy hestras packed out so damn fast, hope you have better luck with yours. Mine were warm for like 2 weeks and now they're just like wearing a leather glove with no insulation.
Profahoben_212We will see....im super stoked on them. I used the same burton gloves for like 10 years...amazing gloves but I blew them out finally 2 years ago. I switched over to Dakine last year and I wasn't impressed even with their high end glove. So I'm hoping these fill the void
Also....its tahoe I don't really need insulation for 3/4ths of the year.....i wore my liners for half my days last year hahaha. Hopefully these puppies hold up when I go home to the actual cold winter though

.lenconYa gotta get them kincos.
How much do those Hestras cost?? Must have been a shitty inside to pack out in 2 weeks. You let them air dry every time after skiing?
