Neli Pictures presents their second movie, "Unaffected". This year the crew wanted to improve production quality and without question, the level of skiing and make a noteworthy online ski film. No parkshoots, no talking, just pure urban skiing in the streets of Finland and some slushy spring spots at Riksgränsen, Sweden. This trailer is also a part of the final movie as an intro. We were at Ruka two weeks ago filming some urban spots and as we didn't have a generator, we used the short amount of daylight for filming streets and then went to shred the park in the evening. Anttu is happy to join the Salomon freeski team this year. Here is some early season park footage from Ruka, Finland. Stay tuned for more. Anttu will also film an online full part with Neli Pictures this year. "My part from last years Neli Pictures' movie "Unaffected". It was a busy season and I didn't have too much time to film but it feels good to see how it turned out. It makes me super motivated to do much more filming and hopefully come up with a better and bigger video part next fall."
"Stray" is a two part video project the Neli Pictures crew filmed during the 2013-2014 season. Part one will be all about skiing in the streets of Northern Finland and the second part includes all the chill and laid-back spring sessions around the parks, pipes and sidecountry spots in the resorts of Finland. The name "Stray" comes from the atmosphere around the crew during the season when no one really knew what they were filming for, but at the end it turned to be our best release of which the whole crew is proud of. Neli Pictures, bunch of worthless guys who can ski a bit (one of us can actually film too) but that's pretty much it. This is what we managed to film at the streets last season, we are pretty stoked. Now watch it, tell us what you think and wait for the part two with all the spring footage dropping in a week.
There's a reason why the project is called "Stray". With nobody really knowing what we're going to do we couldn't really ask for any sponsors nor resorts to help us, so part two shows us straying around Northern Finland trying to find something enterntaining and creative to film. A lot of fun was had, hopefully you feel the vibes and get hyped for the upcoming season.
