Mad Professors of Skiing is a full length documentary film about Real Skifi. We made this film first and foremost for ourselves and loved ones. In the age of fast clips and algorithms we wanted to create a meaningful memory that could last for decades. The goal was not to convince the world how cool of a phenomenon Real Skifi is. Instead we tried to capture genuine feelings and memories focusing on what this journey has felt like and meant for us.
We started working on Mad Professors of Skiing in the spring of 2020 and we premiered it locally in December 2022. And now, in February 2024, it’s time to release it for you.
Biggest thanks to everyone who has accompanied, supported or watched us throughout the years. We couldn’t have done this without you. We’re beyond thankful for all we’ve had.

We traveled not far from home but far from the usual. After touring in the dark woods and skiing powder at night, we slept in a small hut in -10°C. The next morning, we woke up to a beautiful view and skied till sunset. This was a trip to remember.

Street skiing is a niche sport. But it can still be versatile, colorful and full of nuances. It's a sport and an art that you can make your own. That's why street skiing deserves to be portrayed in rich ways. You don't need to have tons of equipment and crazy spots to go out there. You don't need to be all serious and only do it at night. Grab your friends or even go by yourself and go do it your way. Just because we have a narrow image of something doesn't mean we should stick to it.
Each year Valio Academy program is sponsoring hundreds of children's and adolescents' sports and well-being. Anyone (in Finland) can apply for a scholarship - regardless of their sport or level. Last winter we revisited Havumäki Ranch. This time we got to experience it in dream like conditions. We had so much snow that our smiles were almost as wide as our skis.

We had some time between our flights at the Düsseldorf Airport when we were coming back home from Andorra. Actually, we had a whole night! We decided not to sleep that night so we stayed up all night filming parkour! realskifi.com
