        Overall

These skis have faced many different opinions. For those then think they are way to wide and useless in most skiing conditions, I will have to disagree. The versatility of these skis far surpassed my expectations. Don't knock 'em till you ride 'em.

        Performance

I only rode them for half a day on groomers at Vail. I was forced to stop early when the toepiece on the binding broke. F#*k!!! The first run I took them on felt odd because I was not used to the weight or riding a brand new ski that actually has edges. I am used to my AR5s that have very dull useless edges.
By the second run I was completely comfortable on these beasts. These skis are very maneuverable and handled speed very well. I rode them switch all the way down the hill without any concerns. I didn't get in the park and probably won't with these.
Unfortunatley I didnt get to the back bowls or Blue Sky that day because of the binding problem. Damn it. But I am supremely confident that they will maintain well in chopped up snow and of course really excel in powder since that it where they are at home.
I will post again once I get the binding fixed and ride them in powder.

        Design

I prefer these graphics over this years model.

        Value

Of course I paid a pretty penny for them, but these will be my powder skis for many seasons to come.

        Characteristics

Flex pattern was great. Perfect middle ground between buttery and stiff.
