Super zooms suce as this one are often frowned upon but I have had great experiences with mine. It is really nice to have one lens that covers such a wide focal length for running and gunning. It is especially good for macro shots and mine has produced some images that have been mistaken for having come out of canon L macro lenses. All in all a super solid and affordable lens, kind of a one ski quiver of the lens world.
