Just picked this up and am testing it out right now. Pretty impressed with it. It weighs in at 1 LB. Sound quality is pretty amazing for something that it about the same size as an old school portable CD player. Charges by in about 2 hours plugged in. Takes about 5 hours using the solar panel. Looking forward to taking it up on our next BC build. You can plug you mp3 into it and it will keep it charged. Will test this more thoroughly. For now I am definitely impressed with the construction. Right now I am playing pandora through it via bluetooth. In short, it doesn't suck. Perfect for throwing into your pack. Can't be submerged in water, but it is water resistant. Impressive little speaker.
