I used this jacket for a couple of years and it preformed well. I never got wet wearing it and the zip in liner was super handy. It kept me warm and dry throughout the whole range of northwest conditions. It is very heavy since it has magnets keeping the zipper flap closed but I think this tradeoff is worth it. The internal media pocket was the most handy I have ever used and the magnetic flap was great. It let me close my pass into the flap so that is didn't flap around while skiing and then pull it out easily to be scanned, The magnetic hood was handy too. The hood worked well with or without a helmet. All in all this was a great coat that I highly recommend.
