Despite the model year in the review, I am in fact reviewing the '12/'13 model. Overall, the halo is the best ski i have ever ridden. low swing weight, sick graphics, nice butters and good construction. If you head out and pick up a pair of halos you will not be disappointed. The halo handles extremely well in short turns, through moguls, and transferring between features in the park. One thing I will never do again is try and take my halos through powder. the performance everywhere but powder is incredible. The Halos gave extremely low swing weight, they are very easy to spin on and out of rails. The bases on these bad boys are so gawd damn sick. The topsheet could have looked a bit better, but its still pretty sick. The design of the ski in terms of cap and sidewall construction makes these skis so easy to nail your sick 630's out of rails. I got the 170cm and they fit me pretty well. The halos ride much shorter then the length specified. because of the rocker the effective edge is much smaller than you you would think. Flex is great! butter and tail press with ease. When riding the halos pivots and mad butter 5's will be a piece of cake. Some of you smaller riders may have trouble flexing them, but even then, its not difficult.
