I've literally only watched the first episode of the show so that's news to me. Makes sense, though. I can't wait to see people's reactions at the end of this season... was it the Red Wedding that ended Season Three?

There is so much shit thats about to go down in season 4. I am dead serious when I say that it will probably be the best season of a tv-series ever in history. The second half of book 3 is the most intense text ever written and this season is based just off of that. HYYYYYYYPEE!

i honestly dont know what people see in this series. imo the acting is god awful and just scripted so poorly. i tried watching it because i absolutely loved the books but i couldnt get 20 minutes in.

Are they still including some of book 4 and 5 in this season? I heard that initially that would be the case and that next season will be the rest of 4 and 5.

has potential to be the greatest season of any television show ever...with that said, i doubt it will compare to the last 400 or so pages of Storm of swords (source material for the season), the end of that book can only be described in one word..Perfect

The original plan was to split book 3 into 2 seasons.There's plenty of material left in book 3 for this but there may be a small portion of 4 and 5 for the last episode to maybe tease for the next season.

That being said it will be interesting to see how they handle season 5 when books 4 and 5 take place at the same time.

no way, sorry. godfather and breaking bad easily beat this out. honestly acting in this is pathetic, so forced.


the books remain one of my favorite of this genre, up there with lord of the rings, harry potter etc.

I do not think it is fair to compare BB and the Godfather with GoT. GoT came from a book that it seems a lot of people have read/are reading. That ruins 95% of the surprises that BB and Godfather presented to us. No one even guessed about half the events that went down in BB, while in GoT, almost all of me and my friends knew about the Red Wedding as well as the major deaths that are coming in this season.

I've never read the books, solely because I'm to lazy to read them. I'm sure they are awesome. I find the TV show super entertaining and the acting isn't god awful....god awful acting is the third pirates of the Caribbean movie.

I think HBO fucked up a lot of costumes, and castings but it's been a great series so far. Obviously the books have been much better, but they aren't as limited through monetary and imaginational means. Should be good.

nobody understands how much better the books are, the TV show is a joke, they mix storylines that have no place being together and the books cover more detail in a chapter than the show has done in all 3 seasons.

Fuck the Game of Thrones series, the book series is the only real way to understand the world

Dont worry, he has made a script for the whole series incase he dies, that was part of the deal he made with hbo. I think it was 8 seasons or something that will come out. But when he finishes the books, that script will be altered to follow the books.
