We’re stoked to announce the second stop of Newschoolers King & Queen of the Park for 2022. Returning to @sunshinevillage in Banff ( @ShredSSV ) for its second year, giving anyone who can rock up at the resort a chance to show us what you've got for a shot at the big cash prize. We love these contests, so a big shoutout those of you who give them a shot.

We're asking you to show us your best 3 tricks from the varied parks Banff Sunshine Village has to offer. The contest opens today (3/21) and you have two weeks to stack your clips and get them submitted by the April 3rd! Only shots from this season will be accepted and the winners (announced 4/8), take home a cool $1000 and an invitation to join the Banff Sunshine Village Rider Team for the remainder of the current winter season .

@epaskevich @rhacks @emluuxas @Dillon_Eades @Sno-Void @TOADER @mvaltz and more killed it last year and with this year's parks, we're expecting big things. The rules are simple and we can't wait to see what you come up with:

1.) Submit your best three (3) tricks filmed in terrain parks at Banff Sunshine Village Ski and Snowboard Resort, with recognizable landmarks identifying Banff Sunshine's parks.

2.) You may edit together multiple different clips (your run doesn’t need to be continuous). Entries can only be a maximum of one minute long!

3.) Multiple angles may be used, but at least one clip of each trick must show the full trick from takeoff to landing.

4.) Only raw audio files may be used. No music allowed.

Judging:

Our judges will follow this criteria:

25% Creativity

25% Public Voting

50% Overall Impression

Prizing:

Queen of the Park: $1,000

King of the Park: $1,000

The King and Queen will also get an invitation to join the Banff Sunshine Village Rider Team for the remainder of the current winter season (Adult Season Passes valued at up to $1425 CDN + GST, additional restrictions apply).

Eligibility:

To enter this contest, you must be the age of majority in your home province at the time of your submission and be a legal resident of Canada (excluding residents of Quebec).
