TOPPTYRICON Full Ski Movie - Big Mountain Skiing on the West Coast of Norway

TOPPTYRICON is a ski film featuring Heavy metal Big Mountain skiing on the west coast of norway, from myself, Emil Leenderts, Henrik Ulleland, Christopher Lange, and Jacob wester, with additional appearances by Calum Mcintyre, Severin Welle, and Even Melhus.

The filming for this project in took place in Høgevarde for four days in January, Sogndal for three days in February, with most of the footage filmed in the Volda/ Ørsta area of Sunnmøre in March, April and May of 2023.

The film features an all- original soundtrack composed by myself spesifically for this film.

Dimmu Topptur

Dimmu Topptur is the two year rock'n'roll big-mountain ski film project of myself (Trygg Lindkjølen) and Christopher Lange. It features powder skiing, big- mountain charging, zero informative dialogue, and an all-original rock soundtrack made by myself, specifically for the film. (And Christopher made the soundscaping for the intro on his synth).

We made a deliberate decision to make this film as a passion project, with zero budget, so that we would have full creative control on how it turned out. Both of us were working more or less full time jobs for most of the filming of this movie, and we pretty much spent all of our free time these two winters filming.

I would also like to point out that with the exception of some of the powder runs in the first segment, all of the runs in the film are accessed by foot. The whole film is filmed in the Sogndal and Sunnmøre regions of western Norway, and most of the shots are filmed with phones and lightweight drones, making us an effective and lightweight two-person production team in the mountains.

Sogndal Powdays

Heres an edit with some leftover phone clips from the first couple of weeks in february 2022 in and around Sogndal Skisenter in western Norway. During these weeks, we recieved a hell of a lot of snow, and we had a hell of a time skiing it!
I made the soundtrack myself, specifically for this video, and it will probably be up and running on my soundcloud in not too long
