out here charging 500$ after tax for both heelpieces to crack and fall off after 22 days of mid tier park skiing

shout out look bindings for trying to fix what wasnt broken, and made it infinitely worse

After installing a few 2.0’s earlier this season, I noticed that the metal used for the heel adjustment was extremely soft and prone to stripping. I brought this up to my Look rep and he said that they are aware of this and are using stronger metals now.
You’d only notice this if you were a dummy like me and didn’t seat the driver properly.

Has there been any other quality issues discussed on other NS threads?

There have been a few threads outlining problems from snapped heel plates, brittle plastics, and the best one which showed two completely different arm diameters and threads on a pair of heels.

I found another pair of Pivot 2.0s with wrong diameter arms, this time on Pivot 18s.. And they were from a batch manufactured in June of 2024, not part of the supposed messed up batch of September 2024

i think the issue is september and before not just september but could totally be wrong

as much hate as they get, Markers can be found for dumb cheap used, and for their price they function well. on 2 pairs of skis I'm running Griffons that I got for free or like $10
