Dude my sat and sun are extremely busy with motorsports considering I watch most of the major series auto and moto racing wise. Also partake in sail gp. Use to follow the Red Bull air races as well but unfortunately that series ended. I just love racing.
going to the formula E race next month down here in south Florida as well.
Pre-season testing gave us some interesting insights, but it's hard to tell what will carry over to the first race. Ferrari’s pull-rod suspension could bring big aero benefits if they got it right, and Mercedes' new sidepod inlets might help with rear tire temps. Here is a great breakdown of all the tech updates. Red Bull keeping things under wraps only adds to the speculation. Excited to see how it all plays out in Australia!

It may be a one off but Williams getting both cars to Q3 was awesome. James vowles in the off season really downplaying their potential all he talked about was how much of a wash this year would be.
This year is going to be so close. All cars in Q3 within a second of each other, in Q1 they were all within a second and a half at one point. A lot of the rookie hype let me down for sure but I can't imagine the pressure they are under.

both alpines would’ve made Q3 had lewis not spun, they’re not slow this year. just back to where they’ve been since forever. also remember haas wasn’t too bad last year.

Was cool seeing Hamilton get pole for Ferrari, even for a sprint. McLaren’s got some work to do for the sprint forsure. Still feel McLaren is the team to beat in Sunday.

I don’t even mean just now. But for years really no one could extract the performance like max. Yes Perez had a flash here and there. But Ricardo, Perez, Albon, gasley and now Lawson are suffered lack of performance overall even when everyone else on the grid was saying the RB was always the best car. Looking more like it was always about max being the best driver.

Honestly I don’t really see any driver but max having success at Red Bull rn, they just focus the car too heavily around him for that. Not really sure how they expect to win the constructors’ like that

Agreed. Red Bull builds the car around Max because they don’t want to risk the drivers’ championship by making upgrades that might not suit him and end up backfiring. For now, they seem happy just locking down the drivers’ championship. On the upgrade front, Ferrari brought some interesting upgrades to Bahrain and they looked good in practice. If they can translate that pace into qualifying and grab a win on Sunday, we could be in for a genuinely competitive fight in both the drivers’ and constructors’ championships this season.
Based off practices it should be an easy McLaren 1-2. But reality is McLaren will likely find a way to fuck that up. The strategist are not on top of their game atm. 🏧
Idk I this tread is good for this or if I should make one, but does anyone here play F1 24? And if so do you have any recommendations for learning about setups? I understand brake bias and diff settings but obviously there's so much more to it and I'm trying to improve my times in time trials. Currently I can be in the top 25% which means absolutely nothing but I know I can be top 10% from some of my times in F1 23
Another race where max thinks the rules don’t apply to him. Dude lets off the brakes and just flys through the turn off track, gains an advantage and thinks all good. Lol. So glad Oscar won. Lando still doing Lando things throwing his car into the wall in qualy. Little disappointed Lewis’s is struggling in the Ferrari. I’ve hated on him

McLaren for the win. So great to see us finally back at the top. I’ve been a McLaren fan from the early 90’s and it’s been a long road to be a top competitor. I feel for Lando. Max is doing max things and running peeps right off the road. But Lando is also doing Lando things.
