Biggest pro-line kickers in Europe?

Does anyone know which snowpark in Europe has the biggest kickers in their pro-line? I don’t mean jumps specifically built for events, but rather jumps that are open for the public ie. Penken Park Pro-line in Mayrhofen..

I was thinking it would either be stubai zoo, penken park, Laax, Mottolino Livigno, or crans Montana.

Has anyone actually visited these parks and can comment? Or if I’ve missed any obvious suggestions please let me know. Talking about the sheer size of the kicker not the quantity/variety etc.

Stubai is always fire. Laxx is proper but idk the dates for operations. Does crans montana even have a park outside nines?

Possibly Meribels DC Park in the Three Valleys in France. The Kitzsteinhorn Park in Kaprun in Austria might be in the mix too.

It’s hard to say with variation through the season and between summer, winter & pre-season. Here’s just my feelings/knowledge of parks with multiple large jumps, it’s by no means complete

I wouldn't expect to find anything in Meribel anymore. I used to be 3V dedicated every season. Meribel used to have Moon Park (gone about 8 years ago), and DC Area 43. Area 43 is no more, it stopped being maintained to standard in season 2019-2020, they basically had only one what I would call medium kicker (maybe 10m) and nothing but a few smalls other than that. Sad because IMO with Moon Park and Area 43, Les 3V / Meribel was absolutely amazing considering the whole ski area on top of that. Area 43 also being about as good as parks get IMO certainly in the seasons of 2015-16, 2016-17, and 2017-18 when they had that enormous 25m hip jump open to public consumption where you dropped in from 3rd of the way up the half pipe :-) Sad times that they seem to want to bin park off.

Les Menuires similarly only has a "family park" now with small stuff only, when I started in 3V they also had some good kickers about.

Val Tho even has a greatly reduced park from years gone by. They used to reliably have 3 lines of kickers, one line of small (

Laax is regularly full of options and has huge jumps open to public use - these are similar/same as the Stubia Zoo stuff which IMO is not general public suitable because of the huge size. Not been for a while, but all of it certainly used to be open on non comp days, their website shows accurately what you can expect to find. It is a very pricey place to go though. Check comp schedules if you want to be using the huge stuff.

Crans Montana is defo up and coming, check out the video Candide posted from there for a look see. It is also well positioned on the mountain, being south facing at 2100m so will soften on the landings nicely from March on. They had a two options (one bigger, one slightly smaller) on each knuckle in a line of 2 big kickers this season, about 18m size or thereabout for the larger take offs. You also have the option to buy a ski pass for the park only, which is 350CHF for the entire season, and they have a nice park setup for spring season on the Glacier up top from 1st May - 6th Jun, pass for that season is 250CHF. They also have the 9s setup, which is still there for use during their spring sessions if you have them big cojones...

Both these options will not be that dissimilar to Stubia, and I would think these 3 will be the larger stuff on offer in Europe. Worth noting that Stubia is more an early season destination (Oct/Nov), and late season (May/Jun) if you want the enormous kicker line.

Also went to Les 2 Alpes and Alpe D'Huez this season. Les 2 Alpes has a nice XL Slopestyle line which is all about 18m size and are nicely shaped. This will be far smaller than what is on offer in Stubia Zoo/Laax or the Crans Montana ex 9s stuff. If size is your main concern.

Alpe D'Huez built some comp kickers for the French Slopestyle Champs in late March on the same knuckles that they already had their XL stuff on. They were 2 in a row huge, poppy, and IMO similar again to the Stubia / Laax comp stuff. I would say the landings were too small for jumps that size and as a result, although open for public use, nobody used them other than the comp guys.

If you want to get a good idea of size, checkout the video on Red Bull done by Paddy Graham where he interviewing Simon Dumont. They go to the early season Stubia session from this year. If Simon Dumont takes the small line to begin with (OK he hadn't skied in a couple of years), my guess is most people won't go anywhere near the big line without winding them windows down til their arms fall off.....

Another point that may be of interest if you're going to be wanting to use pro size booters, is the chap above mentioned Corvatsch. Their website shows their park well, and it seems to have pro size kickers in the same line as Stubia and Laax and also has a big air bag on a similar sized kicker with the full airbag knuckle and landing rather than typical airbag... so you could try out the windows before going live without a parachute... I believe Livignio also has this sort of setup sometimes.

Laax local here, the size of the proline depends on the current setup. In december they only got one or two big kickers, from january on the build something like a butter feature to two massive booters to another weird features. In Spring they rebuild the whole setup and make it 3 jumps in a row to a special feature. The landings are long and steep so you can kinda choose if you want to go huge or mellow. There‘s also always a couple of rails and a knuckle on the inrun. And there‘s a lift next to the first kicker if you want to sesh that one. Also super nice view. Definetely not the biggest, but the nicest kickers in Europe

Stubai pro line is ok, but not that big. The ones you see in edits are mostly of the prime park session jumps, which you have to pay for

So re. Stubia setup, do they just build them lines up for a particular week or so and charge everyone that uses them in addition to the price of the lift pass? If so, how much the asking for that?

LOLs loving the fact that they're planning ahead with the on-site medic.... To be fair them big booters in the footage I've seen from their sessions are serious. Even just straight air and taking a knuckle hit would stand a good chance of serious injury...
