Thats actually not a bad idea, but I have one on a much bigger scale. Something along the lines of doing a hostile takeover of a telecom company, stripping the assets and make it go bankcrupt by short selling on the stock market. I will make millions of dollars while millions of people have to switch providers.

The whole buying the house cash with a briefcase is now an occurence in Nelson. I didnt make this up! Because of these people, housing jumped another 22% this year. Last year was a record year with a 30% rise in prices. 20 years ago, Nelson used to be a lower income town with weed producers able to make a living.

I don’t need no mask I’m invincible. I’d also probably send my kids to the most prestigious college by cheating them on their tests to get in. If you’ve been to copper and seen the paraglider, that’d be me. It’s be my mode of transport up the mountain or a gondola car to myself. Fuck other people. I’ll not wear a mask and the proceed to use covid as an excuse to go up the chair by myself. Remember, I’d have those few Shelby raptors. I’d be untouchable. Then brag how you only payed 13,000$ in income taxes as you are bragging about building a 3 million dollar lodge and call it “owners lodging”. (Basically, with some exageration, Georgian Peaks in Collingwood did that. But they built the lodge with covid relief funds)

Last park is loudly brag about your employees getting underpayed because members are supposed to tip employees (but dont). Make sure to lobby your governement to exclude eco-tourism from labour laws.

If I were just actively trying to be an asshole I would buy Big Sky and make a big announcement how I am going to slash pass prices, get rid of pay-per-lift on the Tram, pay employees a livable wage, turn it into a friendly family ski area, do pass presales get all of the regular folks of SW Montana excited to be able to afford to ski Big Sky. Then the day before the season is supposed to open I sell it to the Yellowstone Club and all of the pass presales I sold to the "poor" people are only valid for one week at the start of the season, all of the lifts and runs are open with complete disregard for low snow coverage but a total lack of information available on what the on-mountain conditions are so people will only find out after getting so many core shots that their skis are past the point of repair. With the profit I've made from selling to the YC I buy Bridger Bowl, only people who have lived in Montana for 10+ years are allowed, no students are allowed, I force ski patrol to operate all of the Ridge Terrain like it's extreme terrain at a Colorado corporate resort and now Slushmans is only open like a week per year. You need to apply for Ridge permits several months in advance to be guided by a skier of much lower skill than yourself, maybe even children, you are now responsible for their safety on the Ridge and assume all medical expenses if they are injured. I proceed with these shenanigans for a couple of seasons until it isn't fun anymore and I get one too many death threats. I get Big Sky back from the YC because their stupid lawyers didn't read the semi-invisible ink on the legal documents and I now own it again with no reimbursement to YC. I do not allow any corporate interests to buy into Big Sky. Owners of properties at the YC now have to pay me $1 million per year if they would like access to views of Lone Peak and 100 degrees to the left and right of the peak, if they do not pay they will have their windows sprayed with foam insulation, from the inside with lots of overspray on other parts of their homes. They pay up, if they fail to pay they will forfeit their houses which will be used to house employees. Big Sky passes are now available to those with a household yearly income of less than $200K for $600 per adult $300 per kid, if you make more than $200K pass prices are $2000/person, if you make more than $1Million it's $10K/ Person and you have to give employees (who now make more than a livable wage) foot massages at a rate determined by how frequently you ski, ski less = more massages. If you make over $100 million and even submit an application for a ski pass you must fund luxury employee housing, where employees are free to live year round as long as they work at BS. If you own multiple homes and one of those is within 20 miles of Big Sky you will buy ski passes for those who do not live in Big Sky. Mountain access is prioritized at "random" at my discretion and capped to prevent liftlines. All of these things are legally airtight because I am a really good lawyer. All Big Sky profits (there will be millions) will be given to Bridger Bowl, which is now a non-profit again because I gave it back and it's pretty much back to normal, but one day a week the mountain is only open to me and my friends. My aim is chaos and I will find new ways to create chaos until I am satisfied.
