hit up someone around here for an extra heel piece. mis-matched Pivot heels are the sure sign of OG status.
partyandBSim honna get a new park set up regardless but really wanted to use this pair for street and early season. what options do i have for this? the part marked in red was rusted and stripped out. can i epoxy it? (never used epoxy so i know nothing lol might not even work with metal for all i know) could i use a fuck ton of locktite? bite the bullet and just remount them?? seems silly to mount a clapped out pair of skis. . .

had that exact thing happen to my buddy's pivot heel. sadly it's pretty much impossible to fix, screw extractors don't really fit in the post and whatever you use to clamp it will make it that much harder to remove the stuck threads.
don't use epoxy as there's not a lot of contact surface left and that screw takes 1/2 the force of your heel.
sorry to talk shit about NS favorite binding but those threads are just a pretty common point of failure for a design that has many (toepiece wings, FP indicator, halfmoon plate, etc. etc.) maybe see if a shop or friend has a solo heelpiece they'd sell you.
partyandBSafter a long as fuck october where some habits that align with quite a bit of depression including excessive eating, watching tv for hours on end, lack of motivation, etc. if felt sooo fuckin good to feel so sketch on my skis today.
i was trying to get loose again and do some spins off what few options there were. did a few 1s, butter 3s and 3s but nothing crazy. unfortunately, my pivot 18s with probably 500+ days on them left the chat on my 4 oclock run doing what felt like a good nose butter 3. assuming its rusted out
i miss when @hoodcrew was dropping hella edits and fuckin yo bitch at the same time. have there been any party edits lately? i remember seeing one recently but it was more of a sausage party. need more thizzlers on the roof type shit

Definitely day, looked alps there were some solid crashes in it. It was just a super hype edit, early season I think too, or they dropped it in January maybe?
KungKalmarDid it look like something in the alps or something in the north? Night or day?

If you have another heel and baseplate you can take all that shit off and put inserts in the existing holes to reuse them.
Made sense in my head.

so the base plate is actually still good i think. threads look intact. they are stripped on the dildo side so i only need a new dildo lol. probably just gonna buy a new pair of skis and bindings and naively use them for park and street.

Street is definitely the place I want my heel piece to explode. Shouldn't be too hard to find a used dildo to use.

oh i meant a new set of skis for just park/street. i planned on getting a new park setup anyway but i would have preferred to use the current pair as an early season rock ski/street ski. but ill just run a new set for that. ill keep the old skis incase i happen upon a suitable dildo.
skiing is amazing and im excited for all of you to be back on the hill. it brings so much life and i love talking to new and old homies on the hill. i become bffs with everyone on the chairlift whether they like it or not lol. i feel so much more whole after the last 2 days even if i am just a squid floatin around doing lip b2s. even with breaking my binding yesterday. im still stoked on life lol.
heres some pics of WPs early season park from a dedicated park lift. (none of that preseason hike shenanigans)
in 2 hours probably got ~10 laps in with 5 hits a lap. its a dope setup and hopefully get some snow love to make it faster. you should probably go and you should def hit me up when you do 🤘
I’m happy for hackel that he seems to be getting lots of views on his videos and is successful but I just tried to watch one and holy shit they are even more corny and boring than I thought they would be. Watch me video chat with my producer so he can tell me how to make a video, wow so cool

I'm able to enjoy them mostly. The Lyngen, Stockholm and Riks vlogs were nice. To me it seems like the ones with real skiing instead of jibbing are the better ones. At least he is raising the low ceiling of ski vlogs.
The Audi nines steepsteep was the only one that sucked. I don't know why I even tried to watch it when the name was already in the title.

Yeah that’s the one I tried watching, maybe I will give some of the others a shot

My dad ripped out his sidewall underfoot so I threw some jb weld in there and clamped it overnight. Just looking for advice cause this is my first time working with repairs like this
