and 100 days at Steamboat. Not gonna hit my 185 day goal. But all and all a pretty good season. First year in about 40 ( not counting COVID) that I didn't get spring lapsi in at the Basin. Still time to get a Euro glacier mission in and make it 4. I'm dying to rally a rental car up that Stevio Pass.

Didn't know you were a Steamboat guy. Skied there one day this past season after not being there since I was 14 and it was absolutely rocking. 50" in the last 48. It was during that really brutal cold spell in January and temps were like maybe a high of 10F, but it was glorious. Really dig the vibe and the layout of that place. Reminded me a lot like Pre-Vail Park City Era.

nCrowTiming the snow conditions perfectly for backcountry lines this time of year is one of the best feelings in skiing
experienced that for the first time out in the beartooths. that feeling when the snow reacts just like you want on the first turn and you know you’re gonna be able to rip the line
VTshredder69So close to grabbing the deal on Jeffery 92 181's for east coast days but still hesitant. Anyone have these?
I have a pair of Jeff 96 181s. I mounted them +2 and really dig them in the park. I prefer my jeff 108s mounted at rec out of the park, but I'm a western skier
Also, i should point out that the jeffrey skis very different from the woodsman. It's much less directional and loves to slarve. The difference is bigger than you'd expect considering the similar construction and geometry.

Good looks. I love the Woodsmans. the Jeff's logo this year is all time and really wanting a pair of different On3P's
Question ultimately becomes do i have the money to spend on them... and that answer is no =(

It's apples to oranges. The Woodsman likes to charge hard and ski directionally with lots of playfull-ness, but you can still pop them switch and do stuff with the tail-rise. The Kartel/Jeffereys are still an absolute monster do-it-all ski though so you can't go wrong with either in your quiver. My Kartels are from 2017 and still hold-up. I ski the 108's at 186cm myself but they can push any terrain honestly.

I had 96's as well, I loved them in soft snow and slush. I did not like them in icy or firm east coast groomer conditions, but the 92 with the lower rocker profile might perform better.
