I think I'm finally getting old. Every landing today felt awful. Snow was hard pack, not ice, but don't remember hard pack ever hurting this much to land on. Guess I will just stick to days that are 35+ and sunny.
Give a list in any order of good ski content to show coworkers at work while we sit coverage. Today we watched Buldoz crew and Strictly, and the boys were fired up.
And yes Guatamalan Persuader will be shown at some point.

I need some energy in ski videos. Idk what it is lately but like the music does not do it for me at all. It’s funny because some of the music is music I listen to but it just doesn’t translate in videos. I need some edge and energy. I find myself watching skate videos even though I want to see skiing.
We need more urban follow cams in skiing. Also, we need crazy shots like under rails and shit. I want to see the goose shit on the I in Vishnu when you grind on the rail over the camera

Went through all my dads old stuff and there is so much cool ass stuff in there. mountain hardware shell with sponsor patches and og gore tex, glacier travel ice pick, sick mountain hardware midlayer that’s comfy af, ski pants from an extinct company, all of it is magnificent. Makes me super grateful that my dad was a adventurous guy when he was younger and he’s pretty stoked that I’m giving his old gear a second life too

yea its cool to have all that stuff. i use an old arc chalk bag from my dad and a couple other things like backpacks. will definitely have to keep my nice gear for my kids to use someday maybe haha

K-Dot.Always shared this opinion too, the logo and general branding is so obviously bad for such a high quality product otherwise. Any skier kid tapped in with the younger generation with a semester of graphic design classes under their belt could do a better job

jaxfulI’d argue that Vail has the most easily accessible/hittable cliffs of any of the i70 resorts. Although that’s not saying much, Colorado ski patrols (except CB) love to rope off cliffs and rocks that would be wide open in California/Utah/Wyoming/etc.

Almost everyone I knew from my time in North Tahoe has moved away. Everyone says it’s different. Just crazy busy and expensive now. Overrun with SF tech bros since Covid, apparently. It’s a shame. I had such great memories there.

Those plans have been around since like 2017 or earlier. I remember discussing them and seeing photos back in the day. It’s just now in the cultural discussion. It was, largely, seen as an absolute pipe dream but maybe Covid changed some things.
In my humble opinion, the homewood area is the prettiest area of Tahoe. I love the trees and proximity to the lake.

Some dudes just have to show their manliness by maxing out their din, riding 170 flex boots, eating all of their meat fully uncooked and blasted with as much spice as possible, and getting bigass wheels for their truck that only goes on pavement.
